Early Life
Graduated as a Bachelor of Arts from Caius College
Later travelled through France and Germany to Italy, where he entered the University of Padua. -
Graduated
He graduated from Padua as a Doctor of Medicine, Age 24.
After graduating he returned to England, where he entered the University of Cambridge. and obtained the degree of Doctor of Medicine, as well. -
After Cambridge
He moved to London, and joined the College of Physicians. -
Job
He joins St. Bartholomew's Hospital, working there for the rest of his life. -
Lumleian Lecture
He began giving lectures and working at St. Bartholomew''s hospital. -
England
He returned to England, and accompanied King Charles I as his 'Physician in Ordinary'. He went to Italy in 1636 where he might have met Gallileo in Florenece. During the English civil war a mob of citizen soilders stole Harvey's goods and scattered his papers. -
Retirerment
Begining of his gradual retirement. He was 68 year old where he moved back to London and lived with his brothers. He would pass most of his time reading general literature. -
Death
He died on June 3rd 1657 at roehampton in the house of his brother. He was burried at Hempstead Essex. He proved that the blood cirulated in a ciricle.
