Hannah samuels mother promised God that if he gave her a child then she would give him to the Lord when he was old enough. So Samuel was given to the temple. -

Jonathan Eats Honey
So Jonathan was is the middle of a war. And while he was at war Saul made a law that they could not eat 24 hours before the war. If anyone did they would be cursed. But Jonathan did not know that and ate some honey. Saul found out that somebody in their army had ate and broken his law. But they didn't know who so they cast lots and found out that it was Jonathan. Saul said he would put the man who ate to death but the people protest and Jonathan did not die. -

Jonathan helps spare David
Jonathan and David were best friends. Saul wanted to kill David and Jonathan didn't want him to die so they came up with a plan. They were having dinner and David wasn't able to make it. If Saul was still mad and wanted to kill David he would shot a arrow and if he is safe he'll say that the arrows are on this side of you but if he isn't safe, he'll say that the arrows are further away to his servant. The next Day Jonathan shot 3 arrows and he told his servant that they were Farther away. -

Saul was about to go into battle but he was scared. So he went to a witch who could talk to dead people. He went in disguise to her. Samuel woke to Saul and told him that they were going to lose the battle. -

Tamar and Amnon were half sibling but Amnon loved Tamar so much that it made him mentally ill. He asked one of his friends what he should do about her and he said that he should tell her to make him food and give it to him and then he would rape her. And he did it. David knew that he should kill Amnon but he didn't. Instead he blamed himself and didn't kill Amnon which he was suppose to do. -

Two women come to Solomon with one child and they were arguing over who the child belongs to. Solomon said to cut the baby in half and one of the women said yes but the other one said that she didn't want it to die. So he gave the baby to the one who didn't want to cut it. -

Solomon asks for Wisdom
God came to Solomon in a dream and asked what he wanted. And Solomon told God that David was a very good king and he went with David with love. David walked in righteousness and Solomon wanted the same thing. So he asked for wisdom. -

Queen of Sheba
The queen gives Solomon a bunch of gifts like stones and spices and a lot of gold. And gave him over a trillion of gold a year. -

King Hiram
King Hiram is from Tyre. Solomon sends messengers to Hiram and asks him if he could help him build the temple. King Hiram sent materials and sent many people to help build the temple. -

Temple Dedication
The people gathered together for the temple dedication. They brought the ark in and the cloud descends and Solomon begins his prayer. Then fire comes down from heaven and they sacrificed 22,000 oxen and 120,000 sheep. -

Solomon and his wives wanted idols to worship so he gave them temples and all the idols they could want. One of the idols has the worst worshipping technique God says. Basically they make and idol that is about 3 stories tall whose name is Moloch and make the statue out of gold. Its body is human and his head is a bull. The statue sits and has a pot on his lap that they put a fire in. They have open hands and put babies on his hands -

Jeroboam
Jeroboam gets rule over 10 tribes and Solomon would only get one. Solomon heard about this and wanted to kill Jeroboam but Jeroboam ran away and went into hiding in Egypt. He was the king of Israel. He reigned 22 years. -

Rehoboam Revolt
Rehoboam was the king of Judah and Solomon's son. The people wanted to lower the taxes. So Rehoboam went to his advisors and they said to raise the taxes. They sent the tax person and the people stoned him. -

Jeroboam's Idols
Jeroboam didn't want the people to worship in Jerusalem so he made two golden calves and put one in the north and one in the south so the people didn't have to travel to Jerusalem to worship. His idols were the fall of Israel. -

Rehoboam wanted to go to war against Israel but God said not to. So he build forts and built up an army of Judah. He made the Levites priests for his idols. He married many wives and concubines and split their children throughout the city. -

Rehoboam was told by a prophet since you abounded the law of the lord the Lord will not go with you when you fight against Egypt. Rehoboam repented but God still didn't go with him and Egypt stole all their riches and Judah was poor. -
