Saul crowned king

Saul was crowned king when he was looking for his father flock of sheep in a small town. Saul was king over Israel for about 20 years. Most of his life was torture after the Lord of Israel left him.

David anointed king

1048 BCE

David was anointed king when he was only 15 years old. He was only on the throne though when he was thirty years old. David reigned for about 40 years.

David defeats Goliath

1024 BCE

When the Israelites were fighting the Philistines David's dad send him to his brothers who were fighting so he could get them more supplies. David saw Goliath mocking God so he asked if anyone was going to fight him. He fought Goliath and killed him with his own spear.

Saul Chases David

1014 BCE

Saul was a man who loved God and tried to follow him but he then sinned against him. He eventually found out that David was the anointed and was going to be the king after him. So Saul followed him all around the country trying to king him, Saul tried to kill him three times.

David protected from Saul

1014 BCE

Saul tried to kill David with a spear in his room. David just so escaped from Saul before he could kill him. Saul sent out men to go to David's house to kill him.

David and Jonathan's Covenant

1013 BCE

David and Jonathan made a covenant to each other that they would not betray each other. Jonathan gave David his robe and other things to seal this covenant. David and Jonathan were very good friends.

Saul Slays the Priests of Nob

Saul was extremely mad because David escaped from him again. So he went to the Priests of Gat and he asked them why they gave David supplies when he was a "criminal". They pretended they didn't know so Saul told his men to kill all of the priests.

David Spares Saul's life

Saul got 3,000 of his faithful men to go and search for David in the caves. He didn't find him and it was getting dark so they went to bed. When Saul was sleeping David went to where he was sleeping and took his spear from him to prove that he could of killed him.

Samuel the Prophet dies

Samuel helped David become king and he gave David a lot of very good wisdom. He also told Saul that the Holy Spirit would leave him because he didn't follow God's commandments.

Saul and the witch of Endor

Saul was fighting the Philistines and other enemies all at one time. He knew that his army wasn't strong enough to win he also knew that he was going to loose his kingdom. He when to a witch and made her tell him if he was going to win or loose and she told him he was going to loose.

Saul and his sons are killed

Saul and his sons went to battle against the Philistines and other enemies that were trying to destroy them. Saul saw that they were losing so he went to the caves and hid in them. He heard some of the Philistines coming so he asked his arm barer to kill him but he didn't want to so Saul killed himself.

David made king over Judah

After the death of David and his sons Israel needed a king so they wanted David. David was crowned king over Judah in front of everyone so they would know that he was king.

David and Bathsheba

David had mighty men that were very strong one of his men had a wife named Bathsheba. She was the wife to Uriah and one day David saw her and at once wanted her to be his wife. So he sent a message, and Uriah was killed in battle and then he married Bathsheba.

Nathan Rebukes David's sin

A prophet named Nathan came to him and told him about a rich man taking a poor man's sheep and making it his dinner for one of his guests. David then said that whoever this man is must die. Then Nathan tells him that it is him.

David's Death

David died of old age when he was 70 years old. Before he died he told everyone that Solomon his son would be their next king. God said that David was a man after his heart.

Solomon becomes king over Israel

After David died Solomon was crowned king over Israel. He was the wisest man that ever lived. He also was the richest man that ever lived and he had tons of honor.

Solomon asking for Wisdom

One night when Solomon was sleeping the Lord came to him and told him that he could ask for whatever he wanted and he would get it. So Solomon asked for wisdom because it would make him really smart. God was so pleased with him that he gave him riches and honor as well.

Solomon builds the Temple of the Lord

Solomon wanted a place for God to dwell at because he has been in a tent for lots of years. Solomon Built the Temple out of pure Gold and lots of stone and wood.

Hiram helps Solomon build the temple

Hiram helped supple all of the wood and rare kinds of wood that Solomon wanted. Hiram also gave Solomon 120 talents and Solomon repaid Hiram with 20 cities. Hiram was also the king of Tyre

Queen of Sheba

The Queen of Sheba came to visit Solomon because of all of the rumors that she heard about him. She said that he was richer than the rumors that she heard of.

The death of Solomon

931 BCE

Solomon reigned for about 40 years in Jerusalem. His fall started when he married 700 wives and then he had 300 concubines'. Solomon died in 931 Bc.

Rehoboam

930 BCE

Rehoboam was the king of Israel and was always fighting with Jeroboam king of Egypt. Rehoboam sinned against God by rejecting him so God than rejected Rehoboam as well. God than let the Egyptians take all of Rehoboams Gold and riches from him.

Israel splits in half

After King Solomon's death in around 930 B.C., the kingdom split into a northern kingdom, which retained the name Israel, and a southern kingdom called Judah, named after the tribe of Judah that dominated the new kingdom.

Abijam

Abijah was a king who followed after his father's and he worshiped Idols and statues. Jeroboam had set up an ambush to come from the rear of Abijah's army, so that the latter's army would be fighting on his army's front and rear, executing a giant pincer movement. Asa goes to battle and destroys Idols

Asa went to battle against 1,000,000 men when he only had about half a million men. God gave them victory over their enemies. When he was king he also destroyed all of his Idols

Nabad

He was the second king of the northern Israelite Kingdom of Israel. He was the son and successor of Jeroboam. He also offered a sacrifice with 'foreign fire' before the LORD, disobeying his instructions, and were immediately consumed by God's fire.

Jeroboam

Jeroboam I was the first king of the northern Kingdom of Israel. The Hebrew Bible describes the reign of Jeroboam to have commenced following a revolt of the ten northern Israelite tribes against Rehoboam that put an end to the United Monarchy. Jeroboam reigned for 22 years.

Basha reign

Basha reigned for about twenty four years in Israel. He was a terrible king because he worshipped idols. He walked in the way of Jeroboam because Jeroboam was evil as well.

Jehoshaphat

Jehoshaphat reigned for about twenty-five years in the land of Judah. He walked in the ways of his ancestor king David. He did what was right in the eyes of the Lord.

Elah

Elahi was also king and he reigned for about 2 years. When he became king he quickly killed all of the people that were relatives to Basha. He was just as evil as Basha was.

Omri

Omri was a king over Israel for about 12 years. For six years he reigned in Tirzah. He also walked in the way of Jeroboam son of Nebat. He also worshipped Idols and it says in the bible that the Lords anger was provoked.

Zimri

886 BCE

Zimri reigned over Tirzah for about seven days. He was also a terrible king during his time of reign. The last day of his reign was when Obadiah took over Tirzah his city that he ruled over.

Ahab

874 BCE

Ahab was a evil king he worshipped Idols and other gods instead of the real God. Ahab reigned for about 22 years in a half. Just like all of the other kings before him he also followed in the footsteps of Jeroboam.

Elijah saves widows son

863 BCE

Elijah was a prophet who one day went to a widows house during a drought and asked her for a cake and water and oil. The widow finds out that her son is dead and tells the prophet Elijah about it. Elijah tells her that he's just sleeping and raises him from the dead.

Elisha and the sons and prophets

849 BCE

Elisha was with the sons of the prophets and when he was their a widow came to him and asked him if he could help her pay off her debt before she had to make her sons slaves. So he told her to gather as much pots and pans and fill them up with oil. And the little bit of oil she had never ran out.

Elisha and the Shunamite Woman

847 BCE

Elisha tells the Shunamite woman that she is going to have a boy and she does. Later her boy dies in her hands she then puts him in his hands and goes to get Elisha. Elisha comes up to the boy and heals him and brings him back to life.

Jehu

841 BCE

Jehu was anointed by Elisha to be a prophet. Jehu starts to reign when Jorum dies. Jehu kills Jorum because he wants to become king.

Atholiah

841 BCE

Atholah reigned for about seven years until she was killed. She killed all of the Royal family except Joash because he escaped her. She was also apart of the royal family so she was basically killing everyone she was related to.

Ahaziah

790 BCE

Ahaziah got injured because he fell off a tree. And told his servants to go to the a god and ask them if he was going to get better from his sickness. Ahaziah only reigned for about two years.

Elijah goes up to heaven in a fiery chariot

Elisha is going with Elijah as much as he can and he helped Elijah did helped him with everything he needed. Elisha asked for double of what Elijah had. Elisha saw how Elijah was taken away from the earth.

Jehoram

Jehovah did not follow in his father's footsteps he put away their Idols but he still worshipped the golden calf's. He reigned for about 8 years. He defeated the Moabites and won the battle

Jehoahaz

Jehoahaz reigned for about 16 years in Israel he also did what was evil in the sight of the Lord. He followed in the sinful ways of Jeroboam by worshipping idols. He fought against the king of Judah and he also made Israel sin very badly as well.

Zechariah

Zechariah was the king of Israel and he reigned for about half a year. He did what was evil in the eyes of the Lord. Jabesh killed Zechariah because he hated him.

Shallum

752 BCE

Shallum was king over Israel for about a month. He was killed by Menahem the son of Gadi. He did what was evil in the eyes of the Lord.

Menahem

Menahem was king in Israel and he reigned for about 10 years in Israel. He did what was evil in the eyes of the Lord and went to war a lot with other countries.

Amaziah

737 BCE

Amaziah started to reign when he was 25 years old and he reigned for about 29 years. What he did was right in the eyes of the Lord, but it wasn't like his father David. But he didn't destroy the high places for the Idols.

Pekahiah

732 BCE

Pekahiah reigned for about two years in Israel. He did what was evil in the eyes of the Lord by following in the footsteps of Jeroboam. Later Pekah the son of Remaliah his captain conspired against and came against him with fifty men and killed him.

Jotham

732 BCE

Jotham was a king in Judah and he reigned for about 16 years in Jerusalem. He did what was evil in the eyes of the Lord. He followed in his fathers footsteps but he didn't do the same mistake as his father.

Jeroboam II

725 BCE

Jeroboam the II reigned for about 41 years in Israel. He did what was evil in the sight of the Lord by following in Jeroboams sins. He died by Lepro's because he worshipped the Idols on the high places so God gave him lepro's.

Hezekiah Reign

716 BCE

Hezekiah starts to reign when he was only about 25 years old and he reigned for about 29 years. Hezekiah did what was right in the eyes of the Lord. He tore down the idols from the high places.

Ahaz

715 BCE

Ahaz was a king in Judah for about 16 years in Jerusalem. He started reigning when he was only twenty years old. He did what was evil in the eyes of the Lord.

Hezekiah's Passover

715 BCE

Hezekiah told everyone that they were all going to repent of worshipping idols instead of God. He began to give tons of sacrifices including lambs, rams and other animals. He also made all of the people sing songs to the Lord to worship him.

Pekah

Pekah reigned for about twenty years in the land of Israel. He did what was evil in the eyes of the Lord. He followed in the footsteps of his father jeroboam.

Hezekiah's sickness

Hezekiah got very sick so one day he asked the prophet Isaiah if he was going to die and the prophet said he would. But God gave Isaiah another message that Hezekiah would live and have fifteen more years. And God gave him a sign by moving the sun back ten hours.

Hoshea

Hoshea was a king in Israel and he reigned for about 9 years. He did what was evil in the eyes of the Lord. Hoshea payed the Syrian king tribute to not fight against him.

Manasseh

Manasseh was the king of Judah and he reigned for about 55 years. He was twelve years old when he started reigning, and his mother's name was Hephzibah. He did what was evil in the eyes of the Lord and the Lord was terribly angry with him.

Uzziah

684 BCE

Uzziah was the king over Judah and he reigned for about fifty- two years. Uzziah did what was right in the eyes of the Lord until he got mad at the priests. When he disobeyed the Lord he became sick with Lepro's until he died from it.

Amon

Amon was twenty-two years old when he began to reign. He reigned for about two years. Amon did what was evil in the eyes of the Lord. His mother's name was Meshullemeth the daughter of Horus of Jotbah

Joash

Joash started to reign when he was only seven years old and reigned for about 31 years in Judah. Joash at first was a really good king when he was young but when he got older he became a evil.

Josiah eighth year of reigning

When it was the eighth year of Josiah's reign he began to destroy all of the high places where the Idols where. Then he went to the cities where they where still worshiping Idols and destroyed their Idols and then burnt that city down and then made it a dump.

Josiah eighteenth year of reign

When it was Josiah's eighteenth year of reign he began to rebuild the temple of the Lord. He gave all of the men that where building the temple of the Lord a very good amount of money.

Jehoahaz

609 BCE

Jehoahaz the son of Josiah started to reign when he was twenty-three years old when he started reigning. He reigned for about three months in Jerusalem.

Jehoiakim

Jehoiakim was twenty- five years old when he began to reign in the land of Israel. He reigned for about eleven years in Jerusalem. He did what was evil in the eyes of the Lord.

Jehoiachin

Jehoiachin was eighteen years old when he began to reign in the land of Jerusalem. He reigned for about three months and ten days. He did what was evil in the eyes of the Lord and made him very angry.

Zedekiah

Zedekiah began to reign when he was only twenty- one years old. He reigned for about eleven years old. He did what was evil in the eyes of the Lord. He did not humble himself before Jeremiah the prophet.
