The school expelled him for his excessive involvement. impressed by his subhuman hardships, Van Gogh came to give the miners all his money and he went through a big spiritual crisis. -

Van Gogh began to draw seriously, discovering in 1880 his true vocation as an artist. He decided that his mission from then would be to bring consolation to humanity through art. This realization of his creative powers improved his self-confidence. -
