Education of Kuhn
Thomas Kuhn was a very smart man. Growing up he always kept very good grades. He completed his undergraduate studies at Harvard. He went on to complete his Master’s degree there in 1946, and his Doctorate’s degree in 1949. Both degrees were in Philosophy. -
The Copernican Revolution
This revolution was started due to a very driven Kuhn because of the work that Aristotle had done before him. He was teaching undergraduate studies about this information so he was always around it. He wrote a book regarding the Copernican Revolution and how the Earth and everything else in our universe actually circles around the sun. -
The Paradigm Shift
The Paradigm Shift is what really made Thomas Kuhn a very well known name and put him on the map as a top philosopher. He created this idea meaning that everything in science and philosophy is to be challenged, and the paradigm shift is what happens whenever we have a widely accepted idea that gets changed. A new or better way is found or something completely proves the previous way or idea incorrect. That paradigm shift is the change that happens. -
The Professor
As stated before Thomas Kuhn was a very intelligent man and has the degrees and time in the career field to prove it. He started being a professor in 1964 at Princeton University. He was the professor of Philosophy. After doing some time there he decided to move on to MIT in 1979 where he was also a professor of Philosophy.
