    Adopted son/ great nephew of Julius Caesar, and inheritor of all of Caesar's holdings. He went through a civil war against Mark Antony in order to rise to power, and after he won, he became emperor.

    Military instalments in Galtia we're continued through Agustus' rule and were reduced once Galtia became annexed.

    A fire begins in Rome ravaging through the city. The city went crazy and one of the most famous conspiracies was that Nero played his harp and sang while Rome burned.

    Gaius Calpurnius Piso gained support and ran a conspiracy to get Nero and his antics off the throne. Nero further proves his madness to the people by going to a festival as a ascetic. He was barefoot, and he let his hair flow. (Bare feet were a sign of madness in olden days. It appears in descriptions of maddened kings and in Hamlet)

    He was the second son of Vespasian, so when his brother unexpectedly died, he ascended to the throne. Known as being rash and slacked off.

    Hadrian toured the Roman empire beginning in Britain in 121 to the Balkans and more for four years, then back to Rome.

    Hadrian takes his second tour of his provinces, especially to North Africa.

    Hadrian Resigns

    Hadrian passes his rule on to the next person in line who he declared was Antonius than Verus. Hadrian planned this out way too early because he did not die until 161. He wrote that his death was long and slow, and he wished it would come faster.
