To march an army provided by his Persian allies back to India. He soon puts Bairam Khan in charge which proves himself as a much more skilled tactician. -

Humayun's death
Shortly after retaking power Humayun stops to do daily prayer while he's carrying books down some stairs he trips and falls. He is fatally injured and dies three days later. -

Enimies try and seek power but under Bairam Khan, the Mughal Empire defeats the Surs and solidifies Akbar's control. -

Jahangir goes against his father
Jahangir is the declared successor and revolts against his father in 1599 while Akbar is occupied in a foreign military campain. -

Jahangir succeeds thanks to the women but he son goes against him which makes Jahangir kill all his sons supporters and blind his son. Jahangir get into alcohol and neglects his role -
Jahangir's death
Jahangir dies on his way back from visit to Kashmir and is succeeded by his third son Shah Jahan -
Shah Jahan begins construction for Taj Mahal
In memory of his third wife he builds the Taj Mahal which becomes recognized by many as the finest example of Mughal architecture -
Shah Jahan becomes ill
Jahan becomes ill and his eldest son becomes regent to him. However his younger brother allies with conservative Islamic factions to oppose him. -
Aurangzeb defeats his brother Dara Shikoh
Once Aurangzeb defeats his brother he has him executed. By this time his father has recovered but he doesn't think he is fit for the rule so instead has him imprisoned. -
Aurangzeb's son succeeds him and tries to do good
Shah Alam tries to undo the disastrous policies of his father, but its too late because the empire become violent after his death and starts to break up -
British East India Company becomes protector of Mughal Empire
Uses it to solidify their claim on trade with India, but the final Mughal ruler (Bahadur Shah Zafar) leads a revolt against them. The revolt is defeated and the Mughals deposed by the East India Company. After they assume formal control it ends the Mughal Empire.
