    His birth and early childhood years

    Born to a 17 year old factory worker in Peterborough, Ontario. He was put up for adoption and spent the first three years of his life in various foster homes. He was a fussy child and was constantly crying. In one of the homes, he was abused and suffered from a serious neck injury. From that incident on, he was fearful of others
    approaching him and made odd animal noises.

    At the age of three, he was adopted by Frank and Susan Maynard who were a wealthy family that lived by Yonge Street and Lawrence Avenue. They provided private school education, therapy sessions and bikes which he grew to love.

    Elementary School

    While attending school, Peter was seen as an outcast by others and usually found wandering in the woods. He was identified as a loner and had trouble interacting with others. He occasionally played with children younger than his age. He had verbalized his resentment of other children and although he has has never physically assaulted a child at this point, he confided in one of his social workers that he wishes a bomb would hit and kill the kids in the area.

    Teenage Years

    He was transferred to a emotionally troubled kids in Kingston and his behavior became more sadistic and perverted. At 13 years old. He had consensual sex with a 12 year old but his isolated behavior caused a never-ending cycle. Peter would enroll in a school, be isolated and bullied and then be forced to transfer. Despite the circumstance. Peter actually excelled at his studies and scored high marks in multiple subjects.
  • 17th birthday

    Peter received a red and white bike from his family that he grew to adore. Peter had spent a lot of time riding it and so much that he made up imaginary friends to be a bike gang with him and the concept of real and make-belief did not exist for him. He fantasized about becoming a gang-leader and this was definitely a concern fro his family
  • 1st Victim

    Wayne Mallette was a 7 year old boy who had been lured to deserted grounds so Peter could strangle him to death. Upon discovery of the body, the body was clothed but seemed to be disheveled as if the killer had re-dressed them and two bite marks were found on the body. Pennies were found along the crime scene and the killer had seemed to defecate right beside the body.The killer was wrongfully accused and a boy name Ronald Mowatt was charged with murder.

    Gary Morris was a nine year old boy who was lured to Cherry Beach and upon arrival, was immediately beat to death and strangled by Peter. He had a ruptured liver and noticeable bite marks on the body. Just like the previous victim, his clothes had seem to be disheveled as if the killer had re-dressed them. Paperclips were scattered around the crime scene
  • 3rd victim

    Carole Voyce, a 4 year old girl, was seen riding on the bike with Peter and was later found in a ravine under the Prince Edward Viaduct, completely undressed, sexually molested and choked to death, This was Peter's last crime before he go apprehended for his doings.
  • Declaration: Legally Insane

    He was apprehended January 21st 1957 from the Carole Voyce crime and showed no remorse and no hesitancy when admitting to his 3 murders. His only concern was if his mother would find out. Peter Woodcock went on trial and was concluded not guilty for the reason on insanity. He was put into a psychiatric facility called Oak Ridge and while incarcerated, doctors tried various means of treatment including dyadic developmental psychotherapy and being fed LSD.

  • Behavior after being apprehended

    Throughout his time in Oak Ridge, Peter would sometimes coerce other patients into sexual behavior with the promise of membership into his exclusive gang. This prominent behavior lead him to be transferred to another psychiatric hospital where he was given more freedoms for some unknown reason. He kept a hobby of trains and would occasionally go out on supervised day outings.
  • 4th Victim

    With a former inmate named Bruce Hamill who was now upholding the role of security in the Brockville hospital, had murdered a 27 year old man named Dennis Kerr,during the first hour of his first weekend pass, with a knife and hatchet. Bruce had purchased all of the weapons and had signed Peter out of the hospital, leading Denis Kerr to a secluded spot where they commenced their attack. Peter was then moved back to his previous mental health institute and sentenced to live their till he died.
