A family lost their little boy. His name was Caleb. They lost him because he fell in a river one day and he couldnt swim. So the community gave them a new baby boy. -

Asher was turing 12 and the community elders where saying things about everybody. The story for Asher was when he was little he would get samcked a lot . Oneday he was getting his snack and he said iIwant my smack instead of I want my snack. -

when everybody was getting there assignments jonas got skippd and he didnt know why. -
Reciver
Jonas got his assignment as the Reciver. He had no idea what he was going to be doing for his assignment because he didnt know what a reciver was. -
Meeting The Giver
After Jonas got is assignment he had to go straight to the house of the old where he first met the Giver. -
Jonas got his first memory
When Joanas became the receiver, the fist memory that the Giver gave him was of snow. He saw people sledding down a hill. -
Fionas hair
Jonas saw Fionas hair "change" but he wasnt sure why or how, Then the Giver told him he was begining to see the color red. -

The Giver gives a memory to Jonas about animals. Jonas told Lily that her comfort animal used to actually exist and that it was a hippo. -
Fisrt painful memory
Jonas was given a memory of the sled agian but this time it was a painful memory. He broke his leg and smashed his finger and got scrapped up pretty bad. -
tranferring memory to Gabriel
when Jonas was taking care of Gabreil he wouldnt stop crying so Jonas decided to give him a memory that he was given, the memory was about a sail boat. -
Bad memory
Jonas was given a memory of war. -
Giver gives a away favorite memory
The Giver wanted to save his favorite memory for the last memory that he gave Jonas, but he decided to give it to him now. It was the memory of love (christmas sence). -
Didnt take pills
For the first time Jonas did not take his stirring pills. He felt like something was telling him that he didn't have to take his pills. -
War game
Asher was playing a war game with little kids and Jonas didnt' like it because he had been given the memory of an actual war. -

The GIver told Jonas about Rosemary and how she used to be the receiver but it didn't work out with Rosemary. -

Jonas saw the recording of the releasing that his Father did. He was shocked at what they really did. He also didn't want to see his Father because he killed a baby and Janas was upset with his Father. -

Jonas figures out why being the Receiver is such a hard assignment because he was so lonely. -

The Giver finally tells Jonas that Rosemary was his daughter. -

Jonas finds out that Gabriel would have to be released that next day. -

Jonas stole food from the food store and then he stole his Fathers bike. -

Jonas took Gabe because he didnt want Gabe to have to be released the next moring. -

Jonas took food, water, his fathers bike and Gabe and he went to escpace from his community. -
airplane
When Jonas was escaping, the community sent airplanes out to look for him an Gabriel. The community had something that could tell were they where by the warmth from their body, so Jonas gave Gabe and himself a memory of the snow so they would be cold. -
sun
As they got further from the community the colder it got. Jonas had to keep giving Gabriel memories of warmth so he wouldn't freeze to death. -
the ending
When Jonas and Gabriel got really far from the community, Jonas lost almost all of his memories and he thought he heard music but then he thought maybe it was just an echo.
