He entered the basement of an 18 year old dancer/student from the university and sexually assulted her and then beat her with a metal rod from the bed frame. -
Second killer,
His next victim was another university student who he attack the same month. This one he killed and dumped her body in a seperate location. -
third assult
this attack was in the Evergreen State Collage where he kidnapped and murdered a 19 year old female student. -
fourth assult
he lured a female student in from Central Washington State Collage by wearing a cast on his arm and asking her to help him carry some books to his car that was a Volkswagen Beetle. -
fifth assult
A female student from Oregon State University, last seen in may 1974 -
sjx and seventh assult
he killed two young female university students after one was leaving a tavern and another after they were leaving their boyfriends dorm. -
changing things up
he changed the time of day and locations that he would hunt for his victims from night to during the day. -
ninth and tenth
twice during the same day he abducted and murded two young females from Lake Sammamish State Park in Washington. -

his new apporah seemed to work as he abducted and killed 3 young females during the month of october alone. -

in fall of 1974 he moved from washington to attend law school in Salt Lake city, Utah. here he continued to murder young females while in Utah, but he changed h is modus operandi. he decided to target young females that were not unviversity students. he claimed to be a police officer and that is how he lured his victims in. -
not a good technique
although in nov this technique failed twice. on the first occasion he got her into the police are and hand cuffed her but she was able to jump out of the car door. the second was when he went into a school to get a girl and the teacher refused to let the girl 'go to his police car'. -
finally arrested
Rundy was finally arrested while driving through Utah this time for failing to stop for a police officer and got his car checked and there was tools such as: a ski mask, a crowbar, handcuff, trashbags, and an ice pick. -
convicted of kidnapping

he escaped once from the law library of the court building. and was caught 6 days later. and seven months later he escaped from the jail he was being held in. -
after his second escape....
in 30 mins he began another murderous rampage. he brutally attacked four female students at a sorority house in FL state university. -

he confessed to murdering a 35 young women. -

he was finally executed after losing several court appeals.
