He returned to Guatemala with his wife, Arcely Rey-Rosa, and created the Pediatric Cardiovascular Unit. This became a center of reference at the national level, as well as in Central America and the Caribbean, for the diagnosis and treatment of children with congenital malformations of the heart. -
