The little baby gorilla leaves his mother and father to chase after a frog. A leapardess ends up taking the baby gorilla away before the parents can stop him.

Mom Gorilla

Aug 27, 1888

Mom hears a baby crying and goes off in search of him. She discovers the home of the human family. She discovers that the family is dead and finds the human baby.

Mom Gorilla saves the day

Aug 27, 1888

Kala, the mom gorilla, ends up saving Tarzan, the human baby, from Sabor, the same leopard that killed her child. Her mate and the chief of the gorillas, Kerchak, rejects Tarzan as his son.

Tarzan

May 30, 1894

As Tarzan is growing up he is known as a troublemaker. Tarzan wants to prove himself that he can be just as good a gorilla as the others can. Terk, a fellow gorilla dares him to get the hair off an elephant.

Different

Jun 1, 1894

In the process of getting the elephant hair, the elephants stampede into the nest and put the gorillas in danger. Tarzan meets the elephant Tantor. Tantor, Tarzan, and Terk all become friends. Kerchak gets angry at Tarzan for endangering his family. Tarzan doesn't understand why he is different, but his mom cheers him up.

Growing up

Jun 2, 1894

Tarzan is trying to be the "better ape". He learns how to climb like gorillas, but he also does innventive things like swinging from vines, and getting fruit with a spear. As he ages he continues to learn until he is 23 in 1911 when the next part of his journey takes place.

Sabor

Jul 13, 1911

Tarzan kills Sabor with his spear and offers it as a peace offer to Kerchak.

Gunshot

Jul 14, 1911

Tarzan investigates a sound he has never heard before. He discovers Clayton, Jane, and her father Archimedes Q. Porter. They are here to study gorillas. Jane meets a baby baboon and he likes the picture she drew so he steals it. When she takes it back, the baby cries and his whole family gets mad and chases after her. Tarzan saves her and realizes she is like him.

Sha-bop

Jul 15, 1911

Terk, Tantor and some of thier friends find the human camp while they look for Tarzan. They end up goofing off and ruin the camp. They end up meeting Jane, but Kerchak makes them leave.

Kerchak

Jul 17, 1911

Kerchak tells Tarzan to stay away from the humans. However, Tarzan is curious and goes back to the camp.

Tarzan and Jane

Jul 18, 1911

Jane ends up teaching Tarzan english and the human way of life. Clayton wants Tarzan to take him to see the gorillas but Tarzan ignores him. Jane and Tarzan bond while he keeps his promise to his family. He shows her some special parts of the forest. This happens for a couple months.

England

Aug 16, 1911

The ship finally comes back and it is time for Jane to go leave the jungle and go back to England. Jane wants Tarzan to go with them but Tarzan would rather Jane stay with him. Clayton convinces Tarzan that if he shows Jane the gorillas she will stay.

Gorilla nest

Aug 17, 1911

Tarzan takes the group to see the gorilla nest. Jane meets Kala and the other gorillas. Kerchak finds them and attacks Clayton who has the weapon. Tarzan holds back Kerchak to protect Jane.

Treehouse part 2

Aug 18, 1911

Kala shows Tarzan where she found him all those years ago. His mom wants him to be happy. He realizes he is human and starts dressing the part. Kala will always be his mother. Tarzan decides to go to England with Jane.

Tricked

Aug 19, 1911

Tarzan realizes Clayton has tricked all of them. Him and his friends get locked in the cargo hold and cannot escape. Clayton wanted to make a profit off the gorillas. Tarzan realizes he has betrayed his family. Terk and Tantor hear Tarza's yell for help. Tarzan rips off this clothes in the process of being rescued symbolizing his return to the jungle.

Family

Aug 20, 1911

Kerchak and Tarzan protect the family from the hunters. Jane saves his mother from being captured. Clayton shoots Tarzan and then shoots Kerchak. He is badly wounded. Tarzan and Clayton fight and Clayton dies from getting his head caught in vines, accidentally.

Going home?

Aug 21, 1911

Kerchak asks Tarzan to forgive him and treats him like a son in his last few moments. Kerchak died protecting Tarzan and he feels obligated to stay. Jane is halfway through leaving when her father tells her he feels like she should stay with the man she loves. She runs back to Tarzan and her dad decides to come along for the adventure.
