After graduating from Cambridge University and earning his master’s degree he published his first work in 1950, which also happened to be what he wrote for his dissertation. “An examination of the Place of Reason in Ethics.” In his work he wants to illuminate what moral reasoning really is and what is the knowledge behind it. He simplifies why people may or may not adopt certain principles and ways of life.

The Toulmin Model
The Toulmin model is comprised of six parts which break down the synopsis of an argument or rather how to have a plausible one. What would make an argument effective and get the initial problem solved. Toulmin’s model does only work on the understanding that the opposing person is passive leading the way for a more persuasive argument. Mr. Toulmin based his work on the analysis of moral reasoning. -
