Billy Pilgrim experienced being stuck in time for the first time while he was in World War Two. -
Box car
Ronald Weary dies in a boxcar because of gangrene that he got because his feet were very damaged from having to wear a pair of wooden clogs the Germans gave him when they took his combat boots. He dies saying bad things about Billy because he blames his death of Billy and says that Billy is the reason they were found and captured by the Germans in the first place. -
Arrival in Dresden
The officer approaches Billy group and tells them to look presentable. He tells them they will be leaving their prison camp in the afternoon and head to Dresden. He describes Dresden as an open city, he says there are no war industries or troop concentrations and that they will no ave to worry about being bombed. Billy's memory of the future reminds him that the city will be bombed in about a month, and that most of the people watching this parade of American prisoners will be killed. -
Dog
Lazaro is such an awful person that one time he took a steak and a spring, cut the spring into sharp points, put the sharp points in the steak and throw it for the dog to eat. When the dog ate the steak full of sharp points the dog was bleeding and crying out in pain and he watched it. -
POW Camp
Lazaro threatens Billy in the POW camp and tells him to get out of the hospital bed and get dressed because he is fine. -
Aliens
Billy is abducted by aliens with a saucer and they shine a purple light on him. -
Billy Pilgrim dies
Billy dies in Chicago when Chicago was hit with a hydrogen bomb. -
Billy flashes forward
Billy flashes forward and sees the ghetto and hears the sirens. He realizes this is much like flashing back to war. This is actually him living in 1967, he's not flashing forward. -
Plane Crash
Billy survives a plane crash in Vermont when Valcincia was dying in the hospital.
