He stopped focusing on collage and was put on academic probation which he simply decided to join the army. -

Scott met a woman named Zelda. They got engaged but she ending up breaking things off with Scott because of his small salary. -
Scott rewrote his novel
He quit his small job and returned home and his new novel was later accepted. -

A week after he started doing good they got officially married -

This was something everyone knew at the time he turned into an alcoholic and he was unable to write commercial stories. He also wasn’t able to stay at one house so his daughter was sent to a boarding school at 14. -

Scott moved to Hollywood by himself to work as a screenwriter. -
