Start of Planning
In August, Marc applies for a firearms-acquisition certificate and recieves the permit mid-October. On November 21, 1989, Marc buys a Ruger Mini-14 semi-automatic rifle. -
Final Preparations
People around him start noticing weird behaviours. He brring his mother a present several weeks before her birthday and hid a note and two bags at her house. He also skipped paying his rent bill, which he usually pays right away. -
Death
After his massacre, Marc turned the gun on himself and commited suicide. -
Day of the Massacre
Marc walked into a classroom and seperated the men from women. Claiming he was fighting feminism, he shot all the women out of which 6 died and the rest injured. He then moved throught the school killing 14 women total and injuring 14 others. -
Marc LePine Buried
Marc was buried in Cimetiere Notre-Dame-des-Neiges in Montreal, close to the school where he commited the crime. -
Suicide Note Leaked
When policed arrived on scene, they found a three-page letter in his pocket. It was not released to the public until it was leaked and published in La Presse. The letter talked about his motives, blaming femenists, and admiration for Denis Lortie.
