Mahatma's Marriage
At age 13, Mahatma was married to a girl named Kasturba Makhanji. She was also 13. They both married each other. -
His Acceptance To A Better College
In September of the year 1888, Mahatma was accepted into a better college that was over seas. The college was called University College of London. -
His Return Back To India
Mahatma worked as a indian in South Africa for quite some time. In July of 1914, he returned back to India. -
HIs Journey To Prison
Mahatma announced about the Reisistance and thats it the end of the movement. The British were not happy, so british officers came and arrested Mahatma and was sentenced in prison for 6 years. -
Released from Prison
He was suppose to stay IN prison, but he got out early. So, he was only in prison for 2 years. He got out because he went under a operation of some sort. -
Calling the Resistance off for the Second Time
I only know the year for this one. I could not find futher reasearch for an exact date. But, in this year, Mahatma AGAIN called of the resistance and set a congress party. (I just put January 1 since I did not know.) -
Mahatma's Retirement
(I only know the year for this one as well. I could not find further reasearch for an exact date.) In 1934, Mahatma announced his retirement for the politics in and resignation of the congress party. He needed to focus on other things. -
Labor Party
(Just the year for this one as well.) In 1947, the labor party took power in Britian. This was the last thing that happened until Mahatma was assassinated in the upcoming year. -
Mahatma's Death
Mahatma died in 1948. He died in New Delhi, India. He was assassinated. He died at the age of 79.
