    Karl Linney was born on May 23, 1707 in the village of Roskhult in Sweden into a priestly family. Two years later, he and his family moved to Stenbrochult. Interest in plants in the biography of Karl Linnaeus was already apparent in childhood.

So Karl continued the classification of plants.
