    A year later, he recorded versions of country. For several years he performed in clubs of U.S.A. He decided to go to Memphis in order to record at Sun Records. He recorded his first song for the label: End of the Road

    In 1986, Lewis was one of the inaugural inductees into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
