Isaac was born
Sarah became pregnant and gave birth when Jacob was old. Abraham was to give him the name Isaac because that is what God had intended. When he was eight days old he was circumcised. Abraham was the age of 100 when Isaac was born. -

Abraham swears to Abimelek and Phicol the commanders that he won't deal falsely with them or their children or descendants. Abraham then swore to them he wouldn't break his promsie. Abraham gave them sheep and cattle and gave them to Abimelek, and then the two men made a treaty offical. -

Abraham Sacrifices Isaac
God tell's Abraham to go up to mount Moriah to sacrifice his son Isaac. Abraham is to place Issac on the table as a burnt offerning. -

Abraham's servant swore to him that he would find a daughter for his son to marry from their homeland. The servant then headed out to do as Abraham commaned. He prayed that God would grant him a sign to find the right women, then he saw Rebkah. -

The Death of Abraham
Abraham lived a hundred and seventy-five years. Abraham breathed his last and died at a good old age. His sons Isaac and Ishmael buried him in the cave of Machpelah near in the field. -

Jacob and Esau's falling out
Esau became a skillful hunter and Jacob was a shepard. Isaac favored Esau and Rebekah favored Jacob. When Esau came back from hunting he was starving and Jacob in order to let him eat made him swear his birthrights over to him. -
Isaac and Abimelek
Their was a famine in the land and Isaac went to the King. God appeared to Isaac and told him to not go to Egypt amd to stay where he is. Isaac did as God commanded and he blessed him. -
Jacob takes Esau's blessing
Isac told Esau to go out and hunt him some food and to birng it back and prepare it, and when he returned he would be blessed. Rebekah overhearing it told Jacob and had him dress in furry clothing in order to feel like his brother. He then snuck in with the food his mother prepared and took Esau's birthright. -
Jacob's Dream at Bethel
Jacob had a dream in which he saw a stairway resting on the earth, with its top reaching to heaven, and the angels of God were ascending and descending on it. God stood above it and he said: “I am the Lord, the God of your father Abraham and the God of Isaac. I will give you and your descendants the land on which you are lying. And all will be blessed.
