Adam Smith
On June 5, Adam Smith was baptized on this day. He was known to be influenced by Professor Hutcheson in his University. Graduating in 1740, he won a scholarship and horsbacked to Oxford. His years in Oxford were mostly self- educated, from which Smith obtained a firm grasp. The University also made a marked influence on his own career, as he was a professor of logic in 1751.

James Watt
The day James Watt was born was when his economic life begins. He was part of a very educated family, as his mother teaches him, and his father runs a well-knwon business. As he became a young man he was put in a private University. During this time, he was be-friended by Adam Smith, who majored in Economics. Robert Foulton
Foulton was the Irish imigrants, as their farm was lost by morgage, they then moved to Lancaster. Having learned to read and write he was sent to Quaker School. Later on, he then became an apprentice in a jewerly shop, where he specialized in paintings of miniature portraits. Later on, in December 1806, he then made his construction of a steam boat. Later on, then came the first steam boat.

Spinning Jenny
James Hargreaves recieved no formal educator and was never taught to read or write. He worked as a carpenter and a weaver during this time. Just known to be a legend for how the Spinning Jenny was made, it says that his daughter Jenny knocked down a spinning wheel. His invention of the spinning wheel was known to decrease the labor. Eli Whitney
Whitney entered Yale College, where he learned many of the new concepts in science. After Graduating in 1792, Whitney was dissapointed twice, in promised teaching posts. Whitney then saw that a machine to clean a green-seed cotton could make South prosperous. Whitney's Cotton Gin's had four parts that provided a tool. Karl Marx
Karl Marx was an Influential Philosopher in the 19th Century. Although, he was not really encouraged by the Scholars in his own lifetime. His economic and political ideas gain more acceptance in the socialist movement after his death in 1883. This succes was often modified and his meanings adapted to a greater purpose. Elias Howe
Howe was known to be interested in the work of Machinary since childhood. During that time he figured that a man who could create a machine that sew's can make a fortune. So, with that on his mind he spent five years making a sewing machine. He then completed building the sewing machine in 1846, and was granted a patent for it.
