Hugh Jackman was born in Sydney, Australia on October 12, 1968. He was the youngest of five children and the only one born in Sydney. -
Parents Divorce
When Jackman was eight his mom Grace McNeil and father Christopher John Jackman divorced. Hugh along with his two brothers were left to be raised by his father and his sisters were taken by his mother to England. -
Education
Jackman attended Pymble Public School and Knox Grammar School on Sydney’s Upper North Shore and would eventually earn a bachelor's degree in communications from the University of Technology in Sydney, graduating in 1991 -
