Jesus Triumphant Entry into Jerusalem
Jesus sent two disciples to untie something for him in Jerusalem. Jesus then also arrived in Jerusalem and he was praised. The crowds said, “This is Jesus the prophet,from Nazareth in Galilee.” Mathew 21:11. -
The Last Supper
The Last Supper is the final meal that the Apostles shared with Jesus. Jesus had dinner with his Apostles in Jerusalem before his crucifixion. He took the bread during dinner and broke into pieces and says, “Take and eat; this is my body.” Matthew 26:26. -
Jesus Agony in the Gardengn
The Agony in the Garden is Jesus after the Last Supper and Jesus arrest. Jesus was praying because his disciples eyes would not open and he said, “My Father, if it is not possible that this cup pass without my drinking it, your will be done!” Matthew:42 -
The arrest and Trial of Jesus
Priests and men came to arrest Jesus. A man tries to hide that he is going to arrest Jesus but Jesus says, “Friend, do what you have come for.” Matthew:50. Someone then cuts of the priest's ear but then the disciples all leave Jesus. Jesus was then brought to the high priest and he said that Jesus should die. -
The Crucifixion
The soldiers hung Jesus then took his clothes as a "gift" for killing crucifying Jesus. They did not destroy his tunic and then they gave him a glass of wine in a sponge. The two other Jews asked to be taken down and for the soldiers to break their legs. The soldiers broke the two Jews legs but when they got to Jesus they realized he was dead. Witnesses of his death said, “They will look upon him whom they have pierced.” John 19:37. -
Peters Denial of Jesus
Peter was sitting outside the courtyard and he was being questioned about Jesus. He kept denying that he knew Jesus. He continued to deny knowing him but then he heard a crow. He then recalled what Jesus said, "“Before the cock crows you will deny me three times." Mathew:75. After that he wept away said. -
Jesus before Pilate
The chiefs and priests took counsel to put Jesus to death.They gave him to the governor, but then Judas returned the silver and put it on Potters field. He was being questioned on if he was the leader of the Jews. Jesus or Barabbas was going to be released and the crowd all said to release Barabbas, “Barabbas!” Matthew:21. Jesus was then sent to be crucified. -
The Way of the Cross
The people met a man and his was Simon. They then made the man do service in order for him to carry his cross. "This man they pressed into service to carry his cross." Matthew 27:32. -
The Death of Jesus
Jesus kept crying out to be helped, Jesus said, “My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?” Matthew 45:46. He was calling for Elijah and all the bystanders were waiting to see if he would be saved. The earth started to shake and everything became different. When his followers were watching him he died from all the shaking. -
The Burial of Jesus
Joseph, who was one of Jesus disciples, asked to see the body of Jesus. Pilate gave Joseph the body and then he put it in the tomb and rolled a rock. The soldiers new Jesus would arise after 3 days so they look him down, “Sir, we remember that this impostor while still alive said, ‘After three days I will be raised up.’" Matthew 27:53. The disciples still tried to get back Jesus but the tomb was secured. -
The Death of Judas
Judas regretting what he did to Jesus. He returned the silver and said, “I have sinned in betraying innocent blood.”Matthew 27:4, After returning the gold he then went and hung himself. With the money of the gold they used it to buy Potters farm as burial place for people who passed. -
The Resurrection of Jesus
After the Sabbath, the two Marys went to go look at Jesus tomb. When they arrived the Earth Shakes and makes the guards scared. Then suddenly a angel arrives and says, "Then go quickly and tell his disciples, ‘He has been raised from the dead, and he is going before you to Galilee; there you will see him.’ Behold, I have told you.” Matthew 28:7. Jesus then met with the two Marys and the disciples, he then approached them and they started talking. -
The Commissioning of the Disciples
The disciples went to mountain that Jesus told them to go to. They saw Jesus and they worshipped him. Jesus said, “All power in heaven and on earth has been given to me." Matthew 28:18. Jesus the told them to go be the disciples of all nations an that he will be with them until they die. -
The Ascension of Jesus
Once Jesus was killed he gave the apostles orders. Although Jesus was dead he still talked to the people and helped them. He told them not to leave Jerusalem and for them to wait for the Father. He said, " For John baptized with water, but you will be baptized with the Holy Spirit not many days from now.” Acts 1:5. The people asked the Lord to restore Israel. Two men then said to the people praising Jesus, that he would be back with them the same way he died.
