The death of Harry's parents is really the most important part of the story, without their death there would be no story line. This is also a very important part because this is where Harry defeated Voldemort. -

Living with the Dursley"s
Throughout most of Harry's life he lived with the Dursley's. While living with them they made sure Harry would never know if his magical abilities. Harry was also very poorly cared for. -
Hagrid to the Rescue
By Hagrid rescuing Harry he finally starts to learn more about his magical background and get his things for hogwarts. Also at this point Hagrid put fear into the Dursley's so they finally started treating him a bit better -
First Wizarding World Experience
Harry's trip to Diagon Alley was his first wizarding world experience he had. This trip was important because he got all of his first year wizarding essentials. He got his wand, which is a very important part of being a wizard, after all its the wand that chooses the wizard. -
Train Ride to Hogwarts
This is a very important part of the story line because it's Harry's first time getting onto platform 9 3/4 which isnt the easiest to get on to. Harry also meets his best friends Ron and Hermione. -
Sorting Hat
This is where Harry really finds his place in the world/Hogwarts. Harry gets sorted into his house which is Gryffindor. Gryffindor was founded by Godric Gryffindor. Ther characteristics of students Sorted into Gryffindor are courage, chivalry, and determination. The emblematic animal is a lion, and its colours are red and gold. -
Getting Back Neville's Remembrall
At this point Harry stands up against Draco Malfoy by using his broom to fly and chase him to get back Neville's Remembrall. By doing this its highly against the rules but Harry did it anyways. Also by doing this he caught the eye of Miverva McGonagall who saw high Quidditch potential in him making him the youngest seeker in over a century. -
Harry's First Quidditch Game
The Quidditch game is very important part to Harry finally becoming famous for something other than somehow defeating Voldemort as an infant. Not only did Harry catch the golden snitch he almost swallowed it. He was also the youngest Seeker in over a century. -
The Forbidden Forest
This is a very important part of the book because this is where everything started to make sense to Harry. he finally realizes that Voldemort is alive and wants to kill him. He realized that Voldemort is going to try to steal the Philosopher's stone that night with the help of Professor Snape (or so he thought) -
The Trapped Door
This is where Harry Ron and Hermione begin their journey to save the entire Wizarding world. And to do so they must get past a massive 3 headed dog named Fluffy. -
Human Wizard Chess Game
Ron realizes they have to play a game of human chess to cross. Ron chooses knight Harry chose bishop, and Hermione a castle. Ron was in charge of the game because he's best at chess. He moves the pieces as the other two watch. What the didn't realize is when a piece needs to be remove from the board the piece gets destroyed by the other. Ron realizes he has to sacrifice himself so the other two can cross. Getting his piece smashed and leaving him unconscious as the other 2 continue on. -
Defeating the Man with Two Faces
Harry Entered the final room and seen Professor Quirrell. Quirrell admits that Voldemort had attached himself to him and Voldemorts head was on the back of Quirrells head covered by a turban. Quirrell tries to kill harry but as soon as Harry grabbed his arm he started to burn. Harry continued to grab Quirrell until he faded away and Harry eventually lost consciousness. Defeating Voldemort and killing Quirrell in the process.
