George created a way for him to travel and spread his teachings. He made a mobile classroom that he was to bring his teachings with him to fellow farmers.

Death
George Washington Carver passed away at the age of 78 on January 5, 1943 in his home where he fell down the stairs. His tombstone was placed next Booker T. Washington.

Legacy Continues
George's legacy did not end there even though he was no longer present. He spent his entire time saving his money and works to create a museum that would publish any other accomplishments that he made.

George Washington Carver High School for Engineering & Science was made to honor all of the accomplishments made during and after the death of George. As well as honoring his work in the science field. -
Stamped made in honor
George was on the U.S. Postal Stamp in 1948 and 1988. And was also on a half coin as well in 1951 and 1954.
