As Victor grew up he became best friends with Elizabeth, almost obsessive. His friendship with Henry Clerval grew a lot as well. (pg 36-37)

Victors interest in science grows

Victor stumbles upon a book called Cornelius Agrippa that triggers an interest in his studies for science. He starts to study Agrippa and his work despite his father's opinions. (page 38)

Victor's mom dies

Elizabeth was ill and passed scarlet fever over to Victors mom. Her dying wish is that Victor and Elizabeth get married and she dies after.(page 42)

Victor leaves for University of Ingolstand

Victor spent a few weeks grieving the death of his mother then left Geneva to go study at the University of Ingolstand. There with his natural philosophy professor they study the alchemists.( page 43/44)

The monster wants to reveal himself

The monster wants to reveal himself to the cottagers near him.When he finds an opportunity to show himself to the blind man DeLancy, Felix scares him since he is ugly. (page 126)

monster wants revenge

The monster is so upset with his appearance that he seeks revenge on humans. He regrets himself ever living and wishes he was never created. (page 130)

Monster wants a companion

The monster confronts Victor and tells him that he deserves a female companion. This second creature could be the only other thing that could ever love him and he is lonely. (page 139)

Victor has doubts

Victor did agree to create a female creature for the already existing monster but is starting to have doubts. He realizes he doesn't want to move and in order to make a 2nd creature he would have to go to England. (page 143)

As Victor is in the process of making the 2nd creature, the monster shows up. Horrified by how ugly his 1st creation he destroys the remains of his 2nd because he doesn't want them to reproduce. (page 163)
