Henry Clerval is in Ingolstadt and aides Victor back to health even though his true purpose was to study like Victor even though Henry's father was very close minded about Ingolstadt in the first place. Page# 60-61

Character development: Victor

In chapter one where Victor is a child he is portrayed as innocent since he is just a child. However once Victor goes to Ingolstadt we get the sense that he's distant from his family, and friends because he is more focussed on college and his education. Once Victor has put his plan in motion we get the feeling that he is unstable in many ways. This feeling is continued until the end of chapter five where Henry tells Victor about the letter from Elizabeth.

Elizabeth has some concerns for Victor

After Victor is aided to a full recovery by Henry he gets the letter that Elizabeth sent him in his sickened health

Victor hears about the tragic news of William's death

Elizabeth and Victor visit Justine

After the trial where Justine commits to the crime Elizabeth and Victor visit Justin before she is sent to a penalty of death.
" I did confess, but I confessed a lie. I confessed, that I might obtain absolution; but now that falsehood lies heavier at my heart than all my other sins. The God of heaven forgive me! Ever since I was condemned, my confessor has besieged me; he has threatened and menaced, until I almost began to think that I was the monster he said I was." (pg. 83)

Victor finds comfort with nature

After Justine's trial Victor overcomes with guilt and starts to walk and wants to get away from the constant reminder of his actions and goes to enjoy nature.
"My wanderings were directed towards the valley of Chamounix" pg.90

Creature Convinces Victor to hear his Story.

After Victor encounters the creature he is prompted to listen to the reason why the creature is the way it is. Victor's curiosity of the death of William and the true murderer motivates him to follow the creature to listen to the story.
"I demand this from you. Hear my tale; it is long and strange, and the temperature of this place is not fitting to your fine sensations; come to the hut upon the mountain." (Pg. 97)

The Monster finds the family

As the creature is describing the story of what happened to him after Victor had created him. the creature talks about the family that indirectly taught him how to speak, and taught him how to have emotional feelings. "The family, after having been thus occupied for a short time, extinguished their lights and retired, as I conjectured, to rest." Pg. 104

Wood Gatherer

After the creature realizes that the family that he is stealing from is in fact being saddened by their poverty the creature helps Felix by gathering wood and putting it on their doorstep so that Felix won't have to do it. "they placed food before the old man when they reserved none for themselves." (Page 106)

The Monster Learns The Language

While observing the family that the creature shows lots of interest in we find out that he learned how to speak from the family that he watched through the small crack.
"While I improved in speech I also learned the Science of letters as it was taught to the stranger, and this opened before me a wide field for wonder and delight." (Page: 113)

Safie's father was sentenced to death

Frankensteins Monster tells about how Safies father was sentenced to death."The father of Safie had been the cause of their ruin... for some reason which I could not learn, he became obnoxious to the government" Page 120

Character Development

At this point victor wants to know what happened to William. Why and how the creature had taken the life of his poor little brother so he is patiently waiting to hear the what made the creature the way he was.

Go for the blind man

The creature finally decided to go confront De Lacey. He talks to De Lacey about how lonely he is. He then gets run out of the house by Felix, as well as Safie running out of the house. Page# 127-129

the death of William

The creature finally explains why he killed William. The creature wanted a friend and since William was so young he had a sense of influence that he had an influenced perception of life. However, upon finding out that he was a Frankenstein the creature couldn't control his anger and killed William. Page# 137

Mrs.Creature

The creature asks Victor to make a female companion for him. Page 139

At this point Victor realizes the mistake he made when he promised the creature that he would make the creature a female companion. Victor becomes smarter of the possible outcomes of his second creation that would be made. After seeing the creatures face starts to destroy his second creation.

At this point Victor has lost everything important to him in his life. He only wants to bring revenge for the people that he lost.

Victor is DEAD

The creature kills Victor. Victor dies after being sick for a long time, and then the creature tries to kill Victor but he is already dead page 206-207
