Forest spoke at the movement in Washington DC. The movement was to protest the war in Vietnam. When Forest went to speak about what happen in Vietnam the mic cut off and it was never heard. That happened to a soldier when he was speaking about his opinion about the war and people believe it was the government covering up what happened during war. -

When Forest was running and running a man was asking forest for ideas for a t-shirt and then they got splashed with mud and the man offered him his shirt and then he got the smiley face idea. The Smiley face was actually made to bring smiling faces to people and say "Have a Nice Day." -
Ping Pong
Forest became really good at ping pong and was recognized for it. This was basically to show that the United States and China where becoming "friends". The American player missed his bus to the competition so he was forced to ride with the china bus and he started talking to the players and they now play together.
