Silviano Carrillo was born in Parzcuaro, Michoacan, Mexico on May 4, 1861. His parents were Juan and Librada Carrillo. -

Silviano Carrillo was baptized the next day after he was born at the Our Lady of Health Church. -

Silviano Carrillo entered the seminary in Zamora when he was 10 years old. There he studied his first year of Latin. -
moved to Guadalajara
In 1872 Silviano Carrillo and his family moved to Guadalajara, Jalisco. There he continued to go to a seminary. To help his family pay for his studies he painted and sold small religious portraits. -
ordained priest
Silviano Carrillo was ordained priest on December 26, 1884 by Perdo Loza and Pardave, Archbishop of Guadalajara. He served a short time at the Church of La Soledad and Parroquia de Jesus. -
moved to cocula
In 1885 he was sent to Cocula, Jalisco as a priest. There he built the church of San Pedro and listened to confessions, preached, and took care of the poor. -
assigned as pastor
On July 16,1885 Silviano Carrillo was assigned Pastor in Zapotlan el Grande, Jalisco. He was a great promoter of the eucharist, the Virgin Mary, and St. Joseph. -
Thief Steals the Ciborium
On July 18, 1901, a theif broke into the Church and stole the ciborium that contained consecrated hosts. -
Sister Servants of the Blessed Sacrament
The act of the thief stealing the ciborium helped as a call of the Holy Spirit to start a religious congregation of women. The women would be dedicated to love and adore Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament. On November 25, 1904 Fr. Silviano Carrillo started a congregation named Sister Servants of the Blessed Sacrament. -
Persecuted
Father Silviano wrote about the Good News so everyone could read about it. When the religious persecution started, on 1914, he was persecuted and had to hide. -
Named Canon Regular
On November of 1916 Father Silviano was named Canon Regular to the Cathedral of Guadalajara, Jalisco. He represented the Eucharisitc spirit really well. -
Silviano was ordained the 5th Bishop of Sinaloa
Silviano Carrillo was appointed the fifth Bishop of Sinaloa, on February 24, 1921, in Guadalajara, Jalisco, by Pope Benedict XV. As a bishop he reopened the diocesan seminary and gave fatherly care to the seminarians. -
passed away
Six months later after being appointed bishop Silviano Carrillo got ill and passed away on September 10,1921, in Culiacan, Sinaloa.
