    Columbia University

  • An Introduction to Logic and Scientific Method

During his time on the staff at Columbia University, he contributed to philosophy with teachings and textbooks. He published An Introduction to Logic and Scientific Method with his mentor M.R. Cohen.
  • The Structure of Science

He has published many works starting with An Introduction to Logic and Scientific Method (1934), to Teleology Revisited and other works (1979). One of his greatest works was The Structure of Science (1961), which became influential in the field of philosophy of science. Though it became important in the philosophy of science, the book proposed that there was much crossover of terminology between the different fields of science.
