  • Stage one: Trust vs. mistrust

    Stage one: Trust vs. mistrust
    8 month old Alex has experienced consistent, reliable, and predictable feeding, diaper changes, love and care from his parents. Today he felt threatened by a dog that ran up to him in the park, but he still felt secure with his mother.
    Trust vs. mistrust
    This stage is all about whether or not to trust. The result of this stage can effect the individual for the rest of their life, because those who needs aren't meant in this stage often experience anxiety, fear, and mistrust.
  • Stage 6: Intimacy vs. isolation

    Stage 6: Intimacy vs. isolation
    Alex (age 24) and Lola married because they feel strong and stef, and wanted to spend the rest of their life together
    Fifth stage: intimacy versus isolation
    This stage is when idvidiuals choose to invest in commitment to others and build long-term loving relationships that feel safe.
  • Stage 8: Integrity vs. despair

    Stage 8: Integrity vs. despair
    Alex (age 78) died laying next to his wife. His 7 kids and 11 grandkids spent the week with him before he died. He worked as an engineer, and provided everything financially and emotionally. He loved his family and was there to party through all life events. He had very few regrets because he lived a full and happy life. He had closure and was ready to pass.
    8 stage: integrity versus despair
    This stage is about reflection. Individual will feel proud of what they achieved or depressed.
