Farley Mowow was born in Canada. He was the first son of Angus Mowat & Helen Mowat. -
Starting adventures
His father´s passion was boats so they 3 embarked on their 1sr trip in an ancient sailing canoe. -
Their own boat
Angus bought their 1st cruise, it was a beautiful boat which cost him 1/4 of his year salary. He named "Little Brown Jug" LBJ. -
A new fella
Angus sold LBJ and bought and antiquated fish boat and called it "Stout Fella". -

Are you sick?
Helen called him "skinny little wart" because Farkey weighed only about 30 pounds, he had pumpkin head and his arms and legs made sticks seem robust. Some people stigmatized him as a sickly boy.So she was trying with potions & tonics to turn him a young poker. At the age of 6 , she made an appoinment with Dr. Brown (pediatrician) in Toronto but he concluded Farley was as healthy as an Ox and told Helen not to make waste his time. -
Hercules
Mowat had his 1st pet, it was a turtle which he named Hercules. It was a present of a boy from school. -
A hard beat.
Helen was pregant but she lost the baby who would have been Farley´s sister. -

His father was hired as a chief librarian. They moved to Saskatoon, Canada. -
