Introduction - Kanye West started out as a small music producer, creating some semi popular beats used in many songs today. He gained popularity as an artist when in 2003 he created his first hit song “Through The Wire” which quickly became a hit competing for top charts. -
Growth
Growth - Kanye creates multiple albums including “Late Registration” or “Graduation” Which are arguably some of the greatest hip hop albums of all time. Kanye continues to grow and collaborates with some of the greatest hip hop artists of that time, including JAY-Z. -
Maturity
Maturity - Kanye reaches his peak, in the late 2000s he receives over 24 grammys, surpassing other artists like JAY-Z and Kendrick Lamar. He made large collaborations with big companies, including Adidas that made him a billionaire. He also co founded famous companies like GOOD music and DONDA, which also made him alot of money. And at the very height of his popularity, he married Kim Kardashian. -
Decline
Decline - He lost a bit of popularity throughout the 2010s. But he recently became popular in 2021 and 2022, but not for the right reasons. Kim Kardashian divorced him, which led him to spiral downhill out of control. He made multiple songs about his sadness, titled “Losing My Family” and many others. People also found hidden files of an unreleased song, where he would release if he killed himself, which he was very close to doing. -
Decline Pt.2
After this, he made some horrible choices and involved himself in nazism, and posted some very bad things on social media. This caused him to lose his 800 million dollar record deal with adidas. -
Decision Point
Decision Point - Kanye decided to clean himself up recently, saying he dosent support anymore what he used too. Even though he hasent fully redeemed himself, he has remarried and hopefully he gets the help he needs in saving his life.
