Davy Learns how to Hunt
At just the age of 8, Davy Crockets dad taught him how to shoot a rifle and hold a knife so that he could hunt. This would lead to him being a hunter in his early adult years. -

By the time davy Crockett was 12, he and his parents had moved 3 times, due to westward expansion. He expirienced the wild many times and was well suited for traveling which helped him tavel as he got older. -

After getting expelled from his school for bulling he ran away from his home at the age of 13 and wandered around the woods for 3 years. With just a rifle. This helped his survival skills a lot and would help him grow up strong and aware of his surroundings. -
Crockett Joins Tennessee Militia
Crockett Joins the Tennessee Militia following a massacre by creek wariors who were at fort mims in southwest Alabama. -
Davy Crockett gets married to Elizabeth Patton
While Crockett was in the militia, he met Elisabeth and immediatly knew that she was the one. They got married and ended up having two kids together later in their lives. She would end up being with him until his death in 1836. -
Crockett Resigns from militia
On New Years Day, Crockett decided to resign from being the commisioner of the Tennessee militia so he could run for the Tennessee legislature. Davy Crockett loved to be apart of things that mattered so he tryed to apply that principle into where he worked and what his job was. -
Elected to congress first time
Davy Crockett had been serving for the Tennessee Legislature for two terms and did ver well there so he ran for congress with the Democrats and won. -
Elected to Second Congress Term
Running for a second term for congress, Davy Crockett was a for sure pick for everybody after doing pretty good during his first term. -
Crockett sets out west to Texas
Fter losing his spot in congress in 1834, Davy Crockett was frustrated and wanted to begin a new life, so he set out to Texas with his wife and kids and wanted to buy a farm and live the country life. Unfortunatly, at this time, mexico had control over texas which would cause some problems later on. -
Davy Crockett Dies trying to protect the Alamo
On March 6th 1836, Davy Crockett died trying to protect the Alamo Fort fir the Texas Republic. He was killed by Santa Anas troops because Mexico wanted control of texas but he died in a hard fought battle for what he believed in. This is probably what Davy Crockett was most famous for in his carrer.
