    Cesar Chavez lived in poverty for 11 years with his parents, in Arizona, Went broke in order to survive him and his family became migrant workers.

    Cesar moved a lot following the California crops, Ages 11-15 he had attended more than 30 schools. He always got made fun of because of his Mexican accent, so he never really made friends.

    Cesar was 21 years old when he got married to a girl named Helen.four years later he landed his first steady job as a staff member of the community service organization. It was a group dedicated to protecting the civil rights of Mexican Americans

    The workers were getting desperate for food and money and started talking violence, so Cesar went on a fast for 25 days to try and talk the workers out of violence

    In 1970 the California grape growers gave in they accepted and signed the first union contracts with farm workers.

    Cesar had died in the middle of fighting for all the other migrant workers. He tried really hard and believed he could accomplish anything. Today schools are named after him and he has his own day to celebrate everything he did.
