    Old king is assassinated, Bernard takes his place. Eryx moves from Storm to Veil with Archie & Cedric.

    Archie's Promotion

    Things improve in Storm, Bernard attributes some of the reasoning behind it by stating he had a coup. Cedric and Archie are given credit, leading to Archie getting a promotion. He becomes an assistant to the secondary. The opportunity to become an assistant was originally offered to Cedric, who refused. He never told Archie this.

    Cedric goes to the tavern the next day while Arch makes a fool of himself. Cedric meets Claire briefly. Comedy ensues.

    Admission

    Archie forces Cedric outside. He snaps at him for speaking with Claire due to the fact that he "wants privacy" in his relationships, legitimately romantic or sexual. Cedric points out that he and Claire met on accident and that the main topic of their conversation was him. Archie doesn't buy it- this is enough to make him officially break it off with Claire. Not because of worries about cheating, but because of Cedric interacting with her at all.

    Emotional Support Eryx

    Archie, after a soliloquy, goes to Eryx. This is maybe when it's revealed that Cedric was the original choice for assistant. Anger sparks, he decides to visit Gael.

    Revenge

    Archie acts on what he says, leaving Eryx's house before they wake up to see Gael. He's instead met with Myrtle, who doesn't expect him- their closeness is hinted to. Her partner is busy, so she's the one to give him advice- revenge. Archie is hesitant, but she enforces it.
