In 1975 Bobby was diagnosed with diebetes. He never had a problem with it untill 1993.

When Bobbys friend heard about Bobby, he want to become his manager. Bobby knew him because they used to ski together.

in 1994 bobby learned how to use a guide. the guide would wear bright colors so that he could see a shadow. Bobby was even good enough to make the US team

When Bobby was participating in the worl championship, he started became really sick. He needed a double transplant.

By 1996 Bobby had his scheduel down. He would ski in the morning and have dialysis in th afternoon. That way he could still be in shape and be ready to get started when he was done healing.

In 1997 a kidney and pancres doner was found. The transplant was successful.

Bobby started to get the symptoms of kindney failure. His symptoms were acute renal rejection. He needed another surgery.

Bobby was back on dialsis again. Dialisis makes you very weak and he was throwing up alot. Bobby said that " minutes off your treatment is minutes off your life."

In March Bobby got his seconed double transplant. It was successful and he healed quickly.

Bobby participated in a race and his favorite part was biking. He then swiched sports to mountain biking. he quotes " I crash alot but i am ok with that because every time i go out and race, i set a goal and compete against myself. if i give 115% that day then whatever outcome i have, i have won the day." Bobb was on many magizine covers. Fhese companies helped Bobby become famous. he was featured in Sports Illustrated, Decline Magazine, Bike Magazine, Dirt Rag Magazine, Mountain Biking UK Magazine, BIKE Magazin Germany, Los Angeles Times.com, New Zealand’s Spoke Magazine, and more.
