Alexander is born Pella, Macedonia. His father is King Phillip II and his mother is Olympias.

Joins the Army

340 BCE

At the age of 16 Alexander joins his father's army. It would take Alexander 2 years to get his first victory after leading the attack against Thebes.

Becomes ruler of Macedamia

336 BCE

He becomes king after his father has been assassinated. By this time he is 20 years old.

Alexander led grand army across Hellespont in Asia

334 BCE

Alexander quickly gathered the Macedonian forces that his father's reforms had made into the premier military power in the region. He led it through Hellespont, Asia.

Battle of Issus

333 BCE

Alexander and his men encountered a massive Persian army led by King Darius III near the town of Issus in southern Turkey. His army was outnumbered but had better experience and as it became clear that Alexander would win Darius fled.

Egypt falls

332 BCE

Egypt falls after he conquers it. He then created the city of Alexandria which meant to be the center of all Greek commerce.

Babylon Falls

331 BCE

After he conquered Egypt he moved to Babylon. He meets King Darius and they fight, but Alexander wins.

Ordered Death on one of his Most Esteemed Generals

330 BCE

His general and army refused to practice pyrokinesis. This irritated Alexander, so ordered the death of one of his most esteemed generals, Parmenion.

Alexander kills Cletus

328 BCE

Cletus was a close friend of Alexander. Cletus got drunk one night and continuously insulted Alexander. In result alexander stabbed him with a spear and killed him.

Alexander marries Roxanne

327 BCE

Roxane was the daughter of the Bactrian chief, Oxyartes. She was kidnapped and married to Alexander.

Meets King Porus of Paurava

326 BCE

Alexander met King Porus of Paurava at the Hydaspes River. Alexander's army and Porus' army went to war. While Purus' army was less experienced they had elephants, but after a long was this resulted in Alexander winning.

A Mass Wedding

324 BCE

When Alexander reached Susa, Persia he wanted to unite the Persians and Macedonians and create a race royal to him. He then ordered his officers to marry Persian princesses at a mass wedding.

Alexander's Death

323 BCE

Alexander falls ill before he can embark on his latest campaign. It is not clear how he died but what is known is that he had a fever that latest 10 days
