Scrooge was a happy young man when he was an apprentice. He enjoyed Christmas and celebrated with everyone. He realizes what a great boss he had and starts to regret how he's been acting. "His heart and soul were in the scene, and with his former self." ID thought (Dickens 36) -
Scrooge's Proposal
Scrooge asks a young lady to marry him, but she turned him down. He's was heart broken and that's when he starts to put money first. "I do; and I release you" ID effect (Dickens 38) -
Cratchit's house
The ghost of christmas present takes Scrooge to see the Cratchit's house. They are talking bad about Scrooge. Scrooge sees that Tiny Tim is dying. Scrooge begs the spirit to let Tiny Tim live. "'Oh, no, kind Spirit! say he will be spared.'" ID speech (Dickens 52) -
Scrooge's nephew's Christmas Party
Scrooge was invited to his nephew's party, but he does go. The ghost of Christmas present takes him to the party. He see's that everyone is making fun of him. He regrets he didn't go to the party."Uncle Scrooge had imperceptibly become so gay and light of heart, that he would have pledged the unconscious company in the return" ID thoughts (Dickens 59) -
Christmas Eve
Scrooge is a greedy, old man. The ghost of Marley comes to haunt him. Marley's ghost warns him life isn't just about money and being a businessman. "a squeezing, wrenching, grasping, scarping, clutching, covetous old sinner!" D (Dickens 12) -
Christmas Eve over again
Scrooge gets to do Christmas over again. He starts to be very cheerful and happy to everyone."Hallo! Whoop! How are you! Merry Christmas!'" ID speech (Dickens 77) -
Turkey
He buys the Cratchit's a big turkey for Christmas. "'I'll send it to Bob Cratchit's!' whispered Scrooge, rubbing his hands and splitting with a laugh." -
Scrooge and his worker
Scrooge sees one of his workers come in late. Instead of getting he gives the worker a pay raise. "'and therefore I am about to raise your salary!" ID speech (Dickens 80) -
Scrooge's grave
The ghost of christmas future takes Scrooge's to see his grave. Scrooge sees that there is no one visiting or morning at his grave. He's sad to see that no one is at his grave and realizes how he's been acting. "Scrooge crept towards it, trembling as he went, and following the finger, read upon the stone of the neglected grave his own name, EBENEZER SCROOGE." ID actions (Dickens 72)
