Mohammad (pbuh) is born
When Mohammad (pbuh) was born, his grandfather, 'Abdul Muttalib, carried him and walked him around the Ka'bah seven times. He then said, "Blessed child, I shall call you Highly Praised (Mohammad). The birth of this child coincided with the glory and triumph of The Ancient House, blessed be he!" -

Mohammad's mother died
Mohammad's mother died in a tent on the outskirts of a small village named Al-Abwa. Before she died, she left Mohammad (pbuh) in Barakah's care. -

When Mohammad was eight years old, his grandfather, 'Abdul Muttalib, passed away at the age of eighty. He was placed in the care of Abu-Talib, the kindest of Abdul-Muttalib's sons. -
Mohammad (pbuh) leads a caravan to Syria
Khadija hires Mohammad (pbuh), through Abu-Talib's request, to lead a caravan to Syria. Abu-Talib demanded that she hire his nephew, and pay him double the original compensation of two camels. -
Mohammad marries Khadijah
Khadijah's best friend, Nafisa, suggested to Mohammad that he could marry Khadijah. He agreed, to Khadijah's delight, and her uncle married them in their family's ancestral home. Financially, Mohammad was doing better. -
Year of Sorrow; Israa' wal Mi'raj
Mohammad's uncle, Abu-Talib, and his wife, Khadijah, die in this year. Mohammad also ascended to heaven on a night journey.
