Thieves in Spain
Alamar Zamaco becomes a thief and is a wanted criminal.He and his friends formed a group of theives and they work together. -
Alamar Zamaco gets jailed
Alamar is caught in while stealing and gets sent to a small jail.While in the jail he starts a riot over the loss of food and he escapes. However many of his friends were killed or taken to other jails so it is only him and two others now. -
Boat to Ellis Island
Alamar hears about Ellis island and the free land in America. Using money that he got from being a pickpocket on the street he buys a ticket to America. -
Boat ride to Ellis Island
Gets onto boat to Ellis island. Has to lie during the leagal inspection so that he can get onto the boat. The two other friends that he escaped prison with also go on the boat with him. Once ariving in America he sneaks onto a train to get to the west. -
Arriving in the west and setilling
Makes it to the west and claims some land. He and his friends from Spain work on the farm together. While living there they start to pick up English and make new friends in Amercia. He now has no criminal record and is not feared by people. -
Farm raided and destroyed
Alamars farm is raided by poeple who want to control more land in the area. During the attack one of Alamars friends is killed. Alamar and his other friend Jose flee their farm and go to the city hopping to find a new job somewhere -
Working at the chicken factory
When in the city Alamar and his friend find a job working at a chiken fatory. This jub pays well and they can afford a rent of a apartment in the town. The owner of the chicken factory is also Spanish so Alamar and the owner get along very well and soon become close friends. -
Alamar buys chicken factory
The owner of the chicken factory tells Alamar he is leaving the buisness. He sells tha factory to Alamar for a cheaper price than normal. After the original owner leaves Alamar starts allowing Afican Americans and Irish men to work at the factory.
