    Revolutionary War was the war between the U.S and Great Britan. It was one of the most important wars in american history. It is important becuase it made america its own country instead of being owned by Great Britan. America was definetly the under dog, we had less recources, soldiers and leadership but we still managed to win. George washington was the leader of the american troops and afterwards are first president.

    When we signed document declaring are independence from england. It is important becuase it was the beggining of The united states and it ended the revolutionary war. It was also imprtant becuase we now had to come up with our own form of government. The document is still on display today but was poorly preserved wich resulted in cracked paper and faded ink.

    When 39 of the 55 delegates signed the contitution. It is important becuase america was fighting over ho to run the country and we finnaly reached an agreement and are still using the same system today. The consittution is probably the most importan document in american history besides the declaration of independence. It is still on display today but was poorly preserved wich resulted in cracked paper and faded ink.

    The Louisiana purchase was a deal made by thomas jefferson and france. France had shut down the new orleans port and that made farmers in the west very angry. jefferson offered to buy new orleans from france and france came back and said that they would sell the the entire Louisiana territory for 15 million dollars. It is important becuase it was a huge expansion of united states territory and it allowed farmers to start moving westward (mcdougal littell).

    The Lewis and Clark journey is When Lewis And clark set out to explore the west along the missouri river. They encountered many difficulties on their Journey such as native americans. The jouney was important because it explained the west for farmers and settlers that would be moving out west in later years (mcdougal littell).

The texans and mexico went to war and one of the most famous battles was the battle of the alamo.     The donner party is one of the most famous group of pioneers in history. In order to save time they tried an alternative route. They detour was a huge mistake. it added a ton of time and the had to go throough mountain passes. The donnner party was stranded in the mountains with no food. The had to resort to cannabalism and some of them survived because of thoses willing to die.

    A huge rush of people from all over the world. James marshall discovered gold in 1848, just one month before mexico lost california to the United States. It is important because it was a huge population growth and a ton of different cultures came to the U.S (mcdougal littell).

    Uncle Toms Cabin is a novel published by Harriet Beacher Stowe in 1852. The novel was very influencial to the south because it drew a tremendous amount of attention to the cruelty of slavery in the south. Her book was printed in over 20 different languages. (McDougal Littel)

    Bleeding Kansas
    There were less antislavery then proslavery ettlers in kansas. After 5,000 resident from the neighnboring state came over and voted ilegally, The anti slavery government rejected the proslavery government that had been placed in kansas. In may a proslavery mob looted the town of lawrence kansas. This attack was called the sack of Lawrence. In responce jhon brown led 7 other men in a massacre of 5 of his proslavery nieghbors. This territory became know as "bleeding kansas". (McDougal Littel)

    Harpers Ferry
    John Brow n, a major abolitionist, Attempts to raid harpers ferry to give weapons to the slaves. Him and 18 of his followers failed. He was captured an put to death for treason. Ten of his men were killed, 5 were captured and 3 escaped. On the day he was hanged aboltionists fired guns in his honor. Southerners were enraged by the browns actions and horrified by notherners reactions to his death. (McDougal Littel)

    The day when abraham lincoln was assasinated. It is impotant because he was one of our greatest presidents and did some amazing things. It was also important becuase he freed the slaves and was the northern leader during the civil war. The assanation was a horrible day in american history and willl be remembered forever. He was shot by john wilkes booth in a theater with his wife.

    The worst stock market crash in american history. It was the beginning of the great deppression. America was at an all time high for stocks so everyone was buying them like crazy. In mid 1929 the whole market crashed people lost tons off money and it was the beggining of the great deppresion. The deppression lasted for 10 years up into world war 2. World war 2 forced america into a war time econaomy and after the war was finished the deppression did not continue.

    On this date the Japanese attacked the United States Naval base in Hawaii bringing the United States into World War II against the Axis Powers of Germany, Italy and Japan. The United States would fight with Britain and the Soviet Union making up the Allied Powers. This was the first homeland attack on america in world war 1.

    When america dropped an atomic bomb on hiroshima in japan. It is importtant becuase many lives were lost and it was a huge reality check for everyone involved in the war. Thsiwas one of the only atomic bombing ever and there was a huge amount of damage done and lives lost. The bombing was a horrible event in history but i think it would help in the future becuase i doubt someone will drop a bomb that big again unless its totally necassary.

The fourth flight was headed towards the capital building but no one is sure if tha was there specific target.
