    On this sad day of febuary 9, 1809 Abraham Lincoln was assainated. His killer was originaly about to kiddnap him but he had little time so he just had to kill abraham. The next day he was killed with a bullet to the head

    On January24, 1848 a carenter named James Marshall found big gold nugget in a nearby american river. People started to flood into california to find gold and strike it rich. The population soon went from only 2,000 to over 20,000. The sheer number of people and gold made this event one of the biggest of its kind. (Mcdougal Littell, 439)
  • Fugitive Slave Act

    Fugitive Slave Act
    This act was a pair of federal laws that allowed for runaway slaves to be captured and returned to their original owner. There was then another slave act passed in 1850. This time it they added further provisions regarding harsh punishments when runaways are captured. McDougall Littel (pg.480)

    Uncle Tom's Cabin a book about a group of slave was created on the date of March 20, 1852. It inspired and showed many people the true fear and bad conditions slaves where living in and caused many people to change their opinion about slavery. http://www.history.com/

    Bleeding Kansas was a period of voilence fighting over the Kansas Territory. In may of that year a pro-slavery group looted the town of Lawrence it was later called "The Sack of Lawrence". This action mad John Brown (an extreme abolishionist) very mad, so he sent a small group to attack his pro-slavery neighbors. Once the bodies where found it was to much for both and it sparked a civil war, the territory is now known as "Bleeding Kansas". McDougall Littell (pg. 487)

    The stock market crash of 1929 is also known as "the great wall street crash of 1929". It began in the late 1928 when people had grown as I would like to call it "stock market fever". Which later grew into the crash of the stock market and a setback for the economy.

    On december 7, 1941 the japanise attacked the pearl harbor base with dive bombers, and mini subs. They both destroyed the ships and left nothing but dead bodys and burning metal. Overall the attack at pearl harbor was a very tragic and deadly day.

    This super bowl was the fist super bowl with the Packers against the Chiefs. The Chiefs lost to the Green Bay Packers 35 to 10. Max McGee a strictly backup player for Boyd Dowler early in the game Boyd Dowler got hurt and the rookie was unecpectedly thrown into the game and made a douchdown pass for the Packers gaining them the lead.

Eventully the fires took over and the towers and they crumbled to the ground creative massive amounts of dust, witch then caused the whole city to evacuate and set sail to surounding places.
