Autonomy VS Shame and doubt
From 2-4yrs old Pete is taught everyone is different and all bodies are different. Being yourself and being different is a wonderful thing. Pete learns autonomy from his parents, and how to have body positivity rather than shame. -
Identity VS Role Confusion
13-19 yrs old Pete is allowed to explore his identity and figure out where he falls into society, his views, and beliefs. This way as a young adult he is allowed to explore and feel a strong sense of self through having supportive parents. While discovering himself he decides at 19 to join the military. -
Generativity VS Stagnation
At 40 yrs old Pete retires from a successful military career. He settles down, his significant other and himself decide to have children. They chose to contribute to society and add to the population. This also gives Pete someone to keep his family name going through generations.
