    After the death of Fatimid caliph Al-Adid Salah al din takes over and forms the AYyubid dynasty , named after his father and introduces sunni islam to the nation.

    The Batlle of Hatin

    There was a weak truce beween Crusaders and Muslims. Slaah al din asked for a favour but Crusaders denied and they prepared for war. Slah al Din ended up winning this war by posisoning Crusader army water supply and lurinng them into open grounds for battle.

    Ayyubids Defeat at Tyre

    Ayyyubids are defeated by Crusaders at Tyre. Muslims agree to withdraw from the city and control of the city went to the Conrad of Montferrat

    On March 3, 1193 Salah al din passes away and fights between different ayyubid branches begin over power. Eventually Salah al Din's brother Adil becomes the ruler

    Crusadere forces were extra cautious this time after their loss at the battle of Hattin. The Crusaders ended up winning this war with a loss of 7000 men

    Attack by the Seventh Crusade

    The Seventh Crusade attack the base of the Ayyubids, Egypt. The Sultan at the time was not present when the attack commesed but arrived later. He was killed in battle, but his empire ended up winning the battle.
