Move from Texas to Florida
Paul was on his way to Florida from Texas. Before he left, his imagination of a zombie following him representing that he was part of the family and that problems follow you no matter where you go. Paul woke up to the sound of the thunder and thought nothing about it and fell back to sleep. When he woke up he smelt smoke and so did his mother, so they decided to call the firemen and the firemen told them that it is a muck fire and they do not go out. -
The President
Paul was riding around his bike in the neighborhood and when he came back he saw Mr. Costello. He is the president of the homeowners. He also brought his son Mike that also plays football just like Erik. -
Legally Blind
Paul and him mother both went to Lake Windsor Middle School to try to enroll him. Paul's mom saw the principal and told her that Paul is legally blind and paul was not to happy about his mother telling the principal that. They then explored the school a little more to get a better look at it. -
The Fields
Erik went to Lake Windsor's Middle School practice and started to play football. Then a storm came yet they still played and Erik's mom wasn't quite happy with that. Paul then saw a soccer team and decided to play soccer with them. Paul realized the team was real easy and if it is always like that he will ace it. -
The first day of school with a flashback
Paul was walking to the bus stop and suddenly he got a flashback. The flashback was him staring at the eclipse around the age of five. That is why he is legally blind. He then arrived at school confused and saw his home room teacher. When he was in his science class a girl came and brought Paul to Mr. Murrow's office to tell the girl to show Paul around. Paul was not quite happy with him saying that so he told him and he had nothing to say. -
Erik's friends
Erik's friends came to his house to go to the backyard and were playing football. Erik's friend Arthur has never played a game of football. Paul is now afraid of Erik and Arthur. -
Lightning
Joey and Paul both were running around the blocks and saw the tallest house in the neighborhood. Joey said that the owner, Mr. Donnelly's house has gotten hit with lightning three times. They say it'll be hitten by lightning even more because it is the highest house in the neighborhood and the lightning will know were to strike. -
The soccer team
Paul was walking to the fields to go play soccer and saw Joey, Tommy and Gino the captain of the team. Mr. Walski explained to the team that everyone gets accepted but not everyone can play every game. 15 people get to play and ride the bus but 15 people are just dog meat. The whole team doesn't play because the bus is too small. Mr. Walski explained to Paul that he will be on the bus and will be goaltender. -
Mike's final days
Paul and his mom were unloading the grocceries and Erik and Arthur explain to them that Mike died at soccer practice by having one hand on the goalpost and flew. His whole left side of hair was burned off. Then Paul saw Erik and Arthur celebrating with Mike's shoe. Paul realized that they killed Mike. -
The aftermath of Mike's death
When Paul arrived at school he realized something wasn't right. It was very violent and Joey was not there because his brother had died. Paul was thinking of how it is at the Costello's house right now. There was no announcement about Mike but Paul heard a couple of guys saying the principal is planning to do something special for his death. -
The discussion
Paul's mom invited the parents of the football team and some other people to her house to have a meeting about Mike. The principal was the first to arrive, then the coach arrived. The principal wants to plant a tree at senior awards for Mike. Mom started to say that lightning is the top deaths in their area and wants to change the schedule. Bill Donnelly said he will do anything to take his son tp practice and everyone agreed to have practice at four a.m. -
Kicked off the team
Paul was standing at the goal playing soccer, and Gino told him that the coach had to tell Paul something, so Paul went. The coach had told Paul that he is kicked off the team because he has an IEP. Paul started to cry and went to go tell his mom. His mom was not happy either so his dad talked to his coach and when he came back he told Paul that he can manage the games and be in charge. It was not the same for Paul. -
The funeral
The Tangerine time said they will have a public viewing and a private funeral burial ceremony the next day. Both will be for Mike's death. Paul got ready to go to the funeral and started to pray with his mom and dad. He then saw the dead body of Mike with no hair on the left side of his head. Paul then saw Joey walk in and Joey said he has to tell Paul something. Paul told Joey that he was kicked off the team and the thing Joey had to say was if he wanted to go to the carnival. -
The carnival
Paul is going to go to the carnival with Joey, but when he woke up he heard his parents arguing because his dad is going to play football while the private burial ceremony is going on. After the argument his mom took Joey and Paul to the carnival and Joey saw his three friends Carra and Karrl. They all went to the freak show, wonders of the world and everyone was freaked out but Paul so he stayed their a while and lost the group. -
The news
Paul was pulling out a bunch of kids and got picked up. When Paul got home the whole disaster got on the news saying the rain caused an underground carven to form then collapse, and rooms 16-21 all got destroyed. -
The sinkhole
It was a rainy day when Paul went to school. He was in his class and got called up to Mr. Murrow's office. The coach and Mrs. Gates were there as well. They said they got a call from the sherif's department saying the wonders of the world exhibit had been vandalized. Paul said it was some kids on the Tangerine Middle School soccer team. The mystery was solved and Paul went walking to his class.While he was walking to his class he heard whoosh and crack sounds. There is a sinkhole at room 19. -
A new plan
There will be a special disaster meeting on Friday at seven thirty, state and country officials will be there. They are currently working on an emergency relocation plan. The most damage happened at the field, some of the soccer field got sinked in but they are going to relocate the field. Also the bleachers to the football field is gone and Paul said half of Erik's audience is now gone as well. -
The new boss
Old Charley was the one who basically constructed the school site. He has gotten fired from the disaster that happened to the school and Paul's dad will be the new director of the civil engineering for Tangerine. -
The meeting
While Paul was on the road going to the meeting his mom said she is trying to put him in a catholic school but Paul is not buying it. Paul's dad said they should first go to the meeting then have plans. They arrived to the school and the principal said it will take three months to restore everything and the school will be back to normal by January eighth. The schedule for the seventh graders is one thirty P.M. to seven P.M but there is an option were Dr. Grace could take them. -
School and soccer
Paul went transferred to Tangerine Middle School and got his schedule. He noticed the school is a lot tougher, but everything was the same just with different people. Paul got a guide named Theresa and she was a shy girl, but when Paul talked about the subject soccer she started to open up. Then Paul went to the coach and said he can be backup goalie, and he joined the team and this time he has no IEP. -
A new friendship
Paul was eating lunch with Theresa and a group of guys came and Paul realized it was the kids that were at the carnival, the ones that got suspended for vandalizing. Victor said they killed ax man and went to jail. Later on they went to go play soccer. -
Bullying
Joey came over Paul's house with his jersey. Paul heard Erik and Arthur outside mud running. When they saw Joey they said a lot of mean stuff to him. They were saying things about Mike but Joey did not know so Paul told him because he asked and Joey started to cry. Joey then left his house. -
The game
Paul and his soccer team had an away game against another school. When they started playing Paul realized it was like a war because they trip and pull people on the field. The score ended with Victor making all the goals and made the team won the game. Paul had the ball two times and missed two times, also a player on the other team put mud in his goggles so he punched him because Tino punched someone as well. When the game ended Joey told Paul he will transfer to Tangerine Middle School. -
Lake windsor hill seagulls
When Paul was at Erik's football game he saw the news was present. The game was sloppy and half time was seven to zero. It then began to rain and the score then became seven to six. Erik had the ball and slipped getting all dirty. When they got home they watched the news and saw that they showed Erik falling and he wasn't quite happy, but his dad said the fall was on purpose so they could win. -
A phone call
Paul was in his room and his mom called him saying Cara Clifton. She said is Paul dating anyone because Joey, her boyfriend said he might be. He said no and Cara then said that Kerri said hi. He then said to say that he said hi then Cara said if he liked her and he said no. Joey said they are just scamming him like a phone survey. -
Another soccer game
Paul had a soccer game and he realized there were a lot of people. They started to play and the halftime score was three to three. Victor then was bleeding from the net, the coach decided to make Paul play his roll in soccer. He then also made the soccer and the final score was seven to three. Victor was proud. -
Joey and Victor
After soccer practice was over Paul and Joey were walking then Victor and his friends came saying hey Joey why are you always with Paul. He then started to make jokes about him like he is Charlie the tuna. Paul knew they were joking around but Joey let it get to him. Paul's mom then came to pick them up and when they were on Joey's street and his neighbor was getting fumigated by bugs and Joey is next and his mom said he can stay and Joey said I don't think so and left. -
The white van
Paul was at soccer practice and saw a man with a white van came with a camera and Mr. Donnelly. He wants to take pictures of the girls on the soccer team because they are news. When he left the next day Paul checked the news and saw that the guy messed up with the picture and caption. -
School project
Paul was at school and his class started a project. They are picking groups and the group Paul will be in has Henry, Theresa, and Tino. Paul wants Joey to be in the group but Joey doesn't because Tino is in the group. Joey then told Paul he left the soccer team and that the school is a dump and he doesn't like it. -
The fight
Paul and his class started the project again and it will be about tangerines. Tino's brother made tangerines and it took him forever. Then Joey and Tino got in an argument and Tino tried to hit Joey but he missed and got suspended. -
Another meeting
Paul's mom is going to have a meeting with the homeowners because of the termites and their is robberies in their neighborhood. Mr. Costello came and Paul noticed that he looks tired and he said all Koi are gone. When the meeting was over Paul was looking at the information. -
The quonset hut
Wayne, the fireman took Paul to the Quonset hut. Tino, Henry and Luis were also there. Luis then took them to the scions. Also the whole street on the West is filled with termites. The backyard of their old house's yard was filled with insecticide. Erik and Arthur were in the yard. Erik then scared Paul and he started to cry. -
Days going by fast
Everyone in the Fisher family thinks day are going by fast. Paul was thinking and he noticed that soccer was the greatest thing that has happened to him. Also Charley had died from a heart attack, and they did not even going to his funeral. -
Another day at quonset hut
Paul is going to go back to quonset hut and his mom is going to take him. Luis and Tino were at the quonset hut and saw Paul. They were going around and Paul was getting real hot so he got first aid spray. He decided to call his mom to go home. A long time ago Luis fell out to a tree and decided to never go picking again. -
Mr. Donnelly
Paul and his parents all got invited to Mr. Donnelly's house. When they got there they saw Erik and Donnelly. They started to talk then Mr. Donnelly talked to Paul about his soccer and said Betty Bright was the best track and field athlete. She became famous and got fourth place because she got hit. Then they left and Paul got a memory of his grandparents coming to their old house and saying what happened to his eye. -
No game
Paul and his soccer team had a game today. They were playing very well but then a storm came and they could not play more because it is a policy. The team was not happy about that and the last game for them is on a Friday. -
The article
There is an article about Paul's soccer team saying the top three scorers. They were Maya, Gino, and Victor. Paul then wondered if Betty was alright with the article being published. -
Last game
Paul and his soccer team had their last game. They were playing Paul's old school. They then started to play and Victor and Gino punched each other. Their team got a free kick and flat kicked the ball so Lake Windsor Middle School had a penalty kick. They made the kick then played. Paul then felt numb and got scored on and he had a bloody nose. Victor and Gino crashed and crossed the penalty line and got a free shot. Gino missed and War Eagles won. -
The science group
The whole science group came over to Paul's home and then played soccer outside. Then Erik and Arthur came. Arthur then hit Tino with a blackjack from his bag. Erik looked at Paul with fear in his eyes. -
The highschool
Paul was with his parents and wanted to tell his parents what Erik has done to Tino but he could not. Then Paul's mom had to go to the high school for Erik. Luis Cruz was there and told Erik to hit him and was roasting him. Arthur then hit Luis with the blackjack. -
Too cold
Paul was at school and when school ended he told his mom he's going to Tino's house for a sleepover and meeting. When they got their they were working on the golden dawns and the trees. Paul then called his mom and she sounded mad. While they were there Paul was so cold and thinks he got the cold. Paul talked to Luis and Tino to straighten things up and Luis said Erik and Arthur's attitude will change on Monday at three o'clock. -
Passed out
Paul woke up from a long nap and saw the all county middle school soccer team. His dad asked if he was on it and Paul got pissed and ranted a little. Paul then saw that the senior awards is coming up. Paul's mom then got a phone call from a neighbor saying mailboxes are smashed and walls are spray painted. Paul checked and his backyard wall said seagulls suck and he passed out. -
Erik and Arthur
Paul was thinking about Erik and Arthur. He's thinking about them getting beaten up by Luis and when Erik got home he had no marks on his face. Paul then got a call from Kerri saying if he wanted to be her date at Joey's house on Friday. Paul's mom had another meeting and they are trying to figure out many things one being what happened to the Koi. Paul said the ospreys might've taken the Koi. -
Luis dies
Luis has died. People say it might've been a blood clot but Paul knows what happened. He knew Arthur has killed him. He got hit by Arthur last Wednesday and died on Thursday. He will have a funeral on Thursday. -
The kid
Paul got a call from Theresa. She said to not go to the funeral because Tino and Victor is going to be there and she does not want to have no more bad things to happen. Paul was near the pond and saw a kid saying there is a gator in the pond. He said his parents lie to him. -
Crazy
Paul woke up from a nap and went to the backyard. He took out the sod all the way into the dirt shows. He was thinking about Luis and started crying and being crazy. Luis is now a part of him -
The senior awards
Paul and his family are going to the senior awards at 6:30. When they arrived Mr. Bridges was using the microphone. Paul saw Victor and Tino, and then Tino hit Erik with his leg then his knee on his face and ran away. Tino, Victor, and even Paul ran away. Paul ran to his house and Erik and Arthur pulled up with the Land Cruiser. Erik said he will pay but Paul was not afraid. Paul then told Arthur he saw him kill Luis and he said he lied and drove off. -
Antoine
Joey called up Paul saying Betty is outside of Mr. Donnelly's house and she knows what Paul has done. Paul was talking to Shandra and then Betty came saying Antoine is sick from the heart because of beating up Tangerine High School kids and other reasons. He was on his knees last night crying. Antoine came out and was talking to Paul and then he said to stop hiding under the bleachers and say the truth. -
Caught
Paul was looking at the news and saw that he has broken records and has gotten a porcelain plate. Paul's mom is having a meeting and called Erik and Arthur to come in. She said Sergeant gym bag was in the storage bin filled with stolen items. Mr. Bauer is mad because Arthurs dad is trying to ask for a second chance for him. Arthur then got arrested and Erik basically got on house arrest. -
The nurse room
Paul went to school and was waiting outside the office. Paul saw Theresa and showed her the science project and said it was nice. She then got all mad and sad and started to cry because Paul jumped on the coach and said Paul is not the type of guy to get in trouble. Paul got called in and they told him he is suspended for three weeks. They left and saw a bunch of gangsters and came up to Paul saying hang tough and other things. Paul is also going to St. Anthony's. -
Paragraphs
Erik and his dad are going to the police station. Paul's mom told him Sergeant wants a paragraph or two about what he knows and more. Paul was writing the paragraphs and was writing a lot. His mom and dad were then reading it. -
New school
Paul woke up and got ready to go to his new school. His dad is going to take him for school for that day. Paul smelled the scent of a golden dawn.
