Arrested
Talaat was arrested when he was about 19 years old for subversive activity. This was caused by his political resetlessness that he developed at a young age. -
Became Deputy
This was a result of his leading role in the Young Turk Revolution which was successful. -

Talaat became a minister of Interior. His hard work was paying off. -

He was appointed the Secretary General of the Committee of Union and Progress where he was able to gain access to many powerful documents and make many powerful decisions. -
Started allying with Russia
This was unusual in the Young Turk Leadership. when the war started he tried to convince the Young Turks to side with the allies but they rest of the leadership team refused and they sided with Germany. -
Deported Armenians
Talaat was responsible for the deportation of many Amenians who were rebelling. This decision was controversial and recieved a lot of internatianl attention.
Over the next few years 600 000 Amenians perished. It is regarded as the first case of genocide in recorded history. 600 000 died out of a population of 1.5 million -
Made Grand Vizier
He held this position for a year before resigning in 1918. he then resigned just before Turkey's surrender to the Allies. -
Assinated
Talaat was murdered by an Armenian Assain who killed in an act of revenge.
