From paphos< paul and his companion sailed from perga in Pamphylia where john left them to return to jerusalem -

The people who met in Jerusalem to sort out the problems between the Jews and the gentile Christians , included some of the leading figures in the church . Peter , the disciple Jesus choose to start the Christian church. James , Jesus brother. Paul and the barnabas. They agreed not to burden gentile Christians with jewish laws. -
2nd Missionary Journey to Greece(A.D. 50-52) Acts 15:36-18:22
After the problem between the jews and the gentille Christains Paul went to Macedonia - the north of present day Greece to spread the word of Jesus and Christianity. -
Shipwreck Voyage to Rome
Paul and his friends set sail from from Caesarea to Rome in late september. When they came to Myra they were put on a ship that was bound for Italy. They sailed to Crete and it was late autumn so they didnt want to sail on. A gentle wind was blowing though so they sailed on but as they wre sailing the winds turned bad and blew them off course. For fourteen days the storm raged but Paul had faith in God. They saw land but the ship ran aground and they had to swim for there lives. -
First Roman Imprisionment
Pauls prision was a rented house that was guarded. It was house-arrest. He was aloud to send letters to his friends During this time he wrote Ephesians, Philippians,Colossians and Philemon. -
Release from Roman Prision
Paul was then released form prision in Rome. After his release he wrote Hebrews, Titus, 1st Timothy and 2nd Timothy and after this he visited Spain, Judea, Italy, Croas, Crete,Macedonia, Philippi, Corinth and Miletus. -
3rd missionary journey
Sailing from Ephesus, Paul landed at Caesarea, and when he had gone up and greeted the church, he went on to Antioch. After he had spent some time there, he departed and went over all the country of Galatia and Phrygia, strengthening all the disciples.Then having passed through the upper coasts, Paul came again to Ephesus this time he went into synagogue and spoke boldly disputing and persuading concerning the kingdom of God -
Arrest and Imprisonment
Paul underwent a purification ritual in order to give the Jews no grounds to bring accusations against him for not following their law but instead Paul caused a stir when he appeared at the Temple, and he escaped being killed by the crowd by being taken into Roman custody. When a plot to kill Paul on his way to an appearance before the Jews was discovered, he was transported by night to Caesarea. And kept prisoner there for two years, until a new governor reopened his case. -
Paul Arrested in Jerusalem and Imprisonment in Caesar and Rome Acts 21:16-28:16
Paul arrived in Jerusalem with a collection of money for the community there. Acts reports that he was warmly received. But go on to say how Paul was warned by James and the elders that he was gaining a reputation for being against the Law, 'teaching all the Jews living among the gentiles to forsake Moses,for not following their law. -
Fourth Missionary Journey and Crete Ministry
For his fourth missionary journey Paul leaves Rome and goes to Asia Minor, Spain and Macedonia leaving Titus to look after the church. He went to Crete on his travels and was trying to convert and preach to the Cretan people. It says in the bible the the people of Crete where bad people. -
Second Roman Imprisionment
Some think that after the burning of Rome Emporer Nero wanted to arrest the christian key leaders (Peter, Paul) because they were blamed. This imprisionment was severe and brief. Luke was his only companion so he experianced loneliness. -
Trial and Execution
Paul had three trials before the Sanhedrin. In Pauls last trial he defended himself as boldley and as outspoken as before. He refused to forsake God so Paul was killed.Some people say he was crucified upside down because he didnt want to die as Jesus did and other people say that he was beheaded.
