Oskar Schindler early life
Oskar Schindler was born on April 28 1908 in Svitavy. Oskars dad was a factory owner his mom was a home keeper. When he was young he was popular and had many friends. later he worked for his dad selling farm equipment but he left because he married a woman named Emile. He then joined the Nazi party not because he was a fan of them because it was better for his busines as a sale manager. -
Hitler takes over
In 1933 Hitler become the official leader of Germany along with the Nazi party he is involved in. The man that made this decision was Paul Van Hindenburg he made one of the most worst decisions in world history by having Hitler be the leader of the Germans. -
Oskar trying to make money
On September 1 1939 the Germans invaded Poland a week later Oskar moved there to try to make money off the conflict. Around the same time he met a Jewish accountant itzhak Stern who he became close with. he then became closer with the Jewish community and began too hire them in his factory to help them make money. -
World war two starts
On September 1 1939 World war 2 started. It started because the Germans and Hitler began to invade Poland after they signed a peace treaty but Hitler invaded anyways. But Britain and France told the German army to abort the invasion or they would declare war on Germany. The Germans did not stop and it gave birth too WW2. -

On march 10 1940 the German launches an invasion into Belgium and the Netherlands also into Luxembourg and France in the later weeks. Just after they invaded France the French surrendered to the German army. -
Pearl Harbor
On December 7 1941 the Japan army who is a Allie with the Germans the Japanese bomb one of the united states military bases in Hawaii called pearl harbor. this caused many american people to die on their soil. this drew the united states into world war 2. -
The USA enters WW2
On December 11 1941 the USA officially enters world war two after the pearl harbor bombing they declare war on the Japanese. Apart of a Japan agreement that made Italy and Germany declared on the USA. the USA entered the war with the allied forces. -
getting his workers back
in June 1942 they began sending Jewish people to camps and away from there everyday life. some of the Jewish people worked at his factory oskar disagreed with them taking them away. so he went to the German station and argued that they were helping the war by them working at a factory and demanded them to give them back and let them free. so they did and none of his workers could get took away to work camps. -
Battle of midway
On June 7 1942 the USA went to fight japan in World War 2 in a navy battle known as the battle of Midway. This battle went on between June 4 And the 7. This was just 6 months after the japan fighter planes bomb the USA navy base pearl harbor. America did when and japan surrender and lost the battle -
Oskar Shindler out smarting a SS officer
in 1943 Schindler the nazai party order the Jewish ghetto Krakow to be destroyed and to kill all the Jews there. some of Oskar Schindler workers lived there and he did not want them to die. So Schindler told the German SS that he would set up a mini work camp in his factory they agreed little do they know Schindler out smarted them. -
Schindler list
in 1944 word came to Schindler that his factory would have to be closed and moved to another town. all of the people he employed would have to be sent to work camps. but Schindler bribed another SS officer to let him chose the people he wanted to have go to his next factory the list had over eleven hundred people to his new factory. -

In the fall of 1944 Oskar Schindler began too move his factory to the town of Brunnlitz. Schindler did have to pay the bribes he promised to the SS officer he promised to let him move the officer and save many Jews. -

In 1944 just after Schindler moved his factory 800 men were sent to the factory to get saved from work camps. there were three hundred woman and kids who were supposed to join them that same day at the factory. But the boxcar they were shipped got rerouted to a work camp but Schindler went to the work camp and rescued them from it before anyone knew. -
D Day
On June 6 1944 the allied forces stormed the beaches of Normandy France this battle is known as D day. The goal of the allies was to take west Europe from Hitler and his German soldiers. The allies were very successful of doing that they took over west Europe this is known as the turning point of this war. -

Oskar Schindler never produced a single bullet this was a apart of the deal he had with the Germans that he would help create stuff for the war and make the Jews do it but he never did make a single thing. When asked why he never made a single thing to help the Germans he simply said "start up difficulties" this was major hit to the Germans. -

In 1945 soviet troops came to Oskar Schindler factory and officially freed the Jews that work for him and that he saved. But they continue to work for him to gain money and to get their life back together. -
the end of world war 2
On September 2 1945 it was the official end of world war 2. And the allies won the war and defeated Hitler and his German army that was trying to take over the whole world. This was a big event everywhere it meant that there was not a war anymore. -

In 1948 Oskar Schindler and his wife immigrated to Argentina to live away form his factory he retired before he moved. He left his factory behind him in the past and immigrated away to live somewhere new. -

In 1974 Oskar Schindler past away from heart problems and liver problems. In 1990 many years after he died there was a movie made about his saving over 1,000 Jews called Schindler's list. the story about Schindler saving Jews from work camps and brought them to his factory to save them.
