School Life
Oscar Wilde was more of a bookish child when growing up. He attended school at Enniskillen and found Greek and Roman studies. After graduation he was awarded to join the Royal School at Trinity College in Dublin. Then moved to Magdalen College, Oxford, England. He dominated all his classes continued to excel academically receiving first class in classics and classical moderations. Then graduated in 1878. -
Beginnings in his Career
After graduating Wilde moved to London with his friend. He continued to focus on writing poetry, publishing "Poems" in 1881. In 1882 Wilde traveled from London to New York City for an American lectures in just nine months. After leaving back to London he went straight back to lecturing. -
Married Life
Oscar Wilde married a wealthy women name Constance Lloyd. They had two sons: Cyril born in 1885 and Vyvyan born in 1886. -
Lady's World
A year later Wilde was hired to run Lady's World that was fallen out of fashion. For two years editing Lady's World Wilde revitalized the magazine and expanding it's coverage. 1885 - 1888 -

The novel, the only one written by Wilde, had six additional chapters when it was released as a book in 1891. The work, an archetypal tale of a young man who purchases eternal youth at the expense of his soul, was a romantic exposition of Wilde’s own Aestheticism. -

They arrest him on charges of gross indecency and sentenced to two years in prison. -
